Still in the dark about some aspects of vehicles.
Do they have ignition keys ?
Do thery have door locks ?
Can zombies nick your car & drive it away ?
Can other stalkers or the military nick your car ?
Can it be damaged or destroyed if left outside in a blowout ?
What sort of cover is needed to protect a vehicle in a blowout .... underground area or solid building.
It appears players have kinda safe havens at 2 research areas where the scientists are located, Dealers house, clan headquarters.
So maybe at those 3 areas are facilities to safely leave your vehicle.
What if players find an "abandoned" car which turns out to be owned by someone skulking about in a building. Are you labelled a thief by another clan or stalker afterwards ? |

Any cars are free game, kind oflike community cars...So you probably wont get into trouble...Unless it was located on an Army Outpost....Then they might get pissed because you're stealing something on their property.
As far as I know, the vehicles are still in working order...consider the weekly blowouts and calm points...So I would thnk that unless it is located VERY near an anomoly (I.E. Grav or such) that it would be fine.

Thanks 92FS Man.
What you may find might be considered abandoned but what you buy & leave parked whilst on a mission might then also be considered abandoned by someone else .... who decides to drive away with it.
That's why I asked about keys & locks.
Wonder if the military are co-ordinated enough to compare intel .... helicopter crew spots intact car & send a recon team to check the area where it's parked ? |

So does that mean that a car that a faction member drives is fair game when he leaes it? |
