Can someone help me?

I posted this in the bugs forum but nobody has answered me, so I figure someone here could help me. I've seen other people with this bug too so I hope there's a fix.

I have this annoying issue where certain objects glow in the dark. Here's a pic taken in the underground parking lot in Pripyat.

http://i42.tinypic.com/t71u1u.jpg

Also to note, in Pripyat I noticed there are some invisible buildings by where the military spawn. I have vanilla textures installed and I'm only using SWO 3.1, so Idk what's causing this either.

To fix the glowing objects, I tried removing SWO 3.1 and the problem still persists, I also reset my user.ltx so Idk what's going on.

What render mode are you using? Static or Dynamic lighting?

The 'invisible' buildings in Pripyat are just obstacles you'll have to live with as they're vanilla things and ever-present.

There are some buildings in Pripyat, obviously not in the right place, that you can only glimpse momentarily as you move by, but finding the right spot lets you see them properly. They're obviously unfinished and poorly textured - some sort of early test maybe.

It's not a texture or videocard bug, it's the developers fault, something with level geometry, maybe wrong portals and sectors.
There is a fix for this in the russian unofficial patch 1.0007, it's only a level file (without extension). It fixes also the reappearing/disappearing objects near the underground carpark.

Dunno about glowing.

Will that fix work for the US 1.0005?

What makes you think the glow is a bug? It might be authentic behavior as long as there's any weak light source or moon light. On that screen I can't see anything abnormal either.

However if you want absolute darkness you might tweak the weather files. And for the glow itself there are several user.ltx settings like gloss factor or bloom you might tweak. Also check whether global illumination is turned off. And of course, just to have mentioned it, the brightness/contrast/gamma settings also fairly effect those settings.

Well it's strange because only certain objects glow, brighter than that screenshot too. I've seen people that don't have this problem, but whether or not it's a bug, I guess it doesn't matter, can someone help me tweak it to be dark indoors and underground ect? I notice that when I go down the ramp to the parking lot, as I'm looking out to the cityscape (up the ramp) it gets unrealistically brighter outside. I'm sure this is some sort of GFX effect, but I think this is what causes the things to glow cause as it gets brighter outside, the objects glow to match that brightness. Here, I even posted a video so it's easier to see what I'm talking about.

Take into account, that in the Pripyat underground carpark an env_mod effect takes places. Ther is a level.env_mod file in the pripyat level folder, and there is a tool to compile/decompile it, and change the settings.
The $env_mod is a weather parameters modifying volume, it can alter lighting conditions. As i remember, this env_mod makes this area a little darker, when the monolith forces ambush you, and the static objects will look weird, like in this video.

All cars in there are lod objects with shader def_objects_lod,not default like any normal static geometry.Perhaps this is what is cousing them to glow, and they dont actualy glow they just arent shaded
