I'm using OL 2.2 but it's weather is just terribad. Vanilla was awesome but I don't know how to return to it. I thought that dynamic weather would do this but it didn't.

Weathers folder in Config and level_weathers.script in Scripts, I guess... Maybe the sky folder in Textures as well.
My only desired effect was to make nights a little brighter because even with the full moon it's almost black, but I don't want to touch the skyboxes if it isn't necessary. Other patterns of vanilla weather were nice.

I would but I don't have them. Even if I unpacked gamedata files I couldn't because I've got no idea which files are for weather. This might be ridiculous but someone should make vanilla weather mod.
i was able to start a new game, here is what I did:
using OL 2.2 for 10005
renamed configs\weathers folder to OL_weathers
renamed scripts\level_weathers.script to OL_level_weathers.script
(renaming mod files forces the engine to use the vanilla files in the db)
scripts\bind_stalker.script
comment out lines 63-71
scripts\amk_mod.script
comment out lines 132-150
start a new game. i don't know if this will cause problems later on in the game. . .
