new way to loot mutants
1.
its quite a while back i have told some guys that "The Gritty Zone" (a COP Mod) will have a different way to loot mutants like the one which is used by vanilla Stalker or most mods.
Furthermore i had to tell you that this feature wont get released to public before the mod is finished. Since the mod project was cancelled by Encryptable and me this is no longer true:
grap your glimpse on TGZ´s way to loot mutants here:
http://youtu.be/lyPuXUHhw5w
... my vid is still processing, give it a some time
Just a fast info about how its done:
You scripters out there are right if you tell me that its not possible to get a hit feedback on death mutants/npcs. But these corpses are ragdoll enabled which itself is only enabled for weapon impact not actor movement. So if you check if actor uses a knife while you check the xyz-coordinates of mutants corpse you will get a chance to create a (costly, dirty, hacked) hit feedback on corpses.
I think you scripters out there could think of the basic structure which had to be implemented to do the rest for the feature. Its unlikely that i have the time to give deeper infos about my scripts but you could try to post youre questions here.
Since there is no TGZ project anymore i have uploaded all script files on some freehoster space (sorry for some ads here). Its most likely you have to dig a bit in these files but for those out there experienced in LUA my scripts should (hopefully) be easy to read and understand. Most TGZ scripts are marked with this tag, most edits in vanilla files are tagged with TGZ or gbamm
you could grab TGZ´s scripts folder (.zip) here:
http://gbamm.square7.de/TGZ/
Use it for whatever you want. I would be very happy if you could credit TGZ for the idea.

there is a better and less costly way to do above feature with xr extensions (which some ppl dont like to use). See this script for a introduction in it:

but im not shure if this way is working with ShoC since you wont be able to grab packets from online weapons AFAIK.

It's OOP (object-oriented programming), crucifist, but it can be poo in English, too. It depends on the programmer."
