I thought of doing this a long time ago, but i thought that that would not be a wise decision, so i waited for some time. Now, i lost ALL my inspiration about the particles, and i may get some ideas later, but here is the final (for now) version of the particles.xr from my mod, STALKER PP2.1.1.9x.

All i can say is thanks mate, this guy has been following my mod since day 1, and he always gave me tips on how to improve, not modding tips, but really helpful things like taking breaks sometimes (i was updating the page for over 10 times a day)

I hope i can get some nice feedback of guys too ^^

Did you include the Star Wars lasers and Stormtroopers like in the "First Shots" pics?

ALL particles, the "mod" with the guns added in is under construction though. There are some bugs to fix (icon fixes etc) and text. But, gameplay wise its done, everything is set This version is really for level and mod builders, so they can use the arsenal of newly created particles. You can too, just put it in priboi, amk, Pe3 and you will notice difference (i made it compatible with most big mods, except AMK NS+DMX)

Cool, thanks for your effort!

Then could I use the laser particle effect in my modded weapons as firing particle (e.g. in flame_particles)? Could you please give me the name of that particle?

EDIT:
I got a CTD after adding your mod's gamedata contents and starting a new game:

Can't find texture 'pfx\pfx_ani-fire01_pp'

Any hints?

EDIT 2:
The problems seems to come from my Helicopter AI mod which has its own particle.xr file. Any idea how to resolve this (e.g. merge)?

Ofcourse! Here are the names:

_ecp\weapons\lasers\laser_red

_ecp\weapons\lasers\laser_extreme

_ecp\weapons\lasers\laser_green

_ecp\weapons\lasers\laser_blue

_ecp\weapons\lasers\laser_white

_ecp\weapons\lasers\laser_yellow

And about merging, you cant merge particles. Only in the older versions of Xray i find it very annoying too mate, but it is how it is. And the crash is fixed now. Hope you like it
