Really? How do you mean? the glow? the laser itself?

I don't have a screenshot atm, but as a description of what I mean:

First of all, you don't really see the laser beam going away from your gun. You see only the "end" of it, maybe half an inch or so at the center of the screen. The blue laser seems to be the only exception where you can see much more of the ray (or beam), maybe starting about 1 meter away from your gun, but only very soft and not really clear.

For my purpose, I would need a constant clear beam starting near the muzzle end and continuing through the "whole screen" (like a "real" laser).

Second, I don't know what exactly the problem is, but it somehow looks unrealistic that the beam stops suddenly in the screen's center and reaches its brightest point when it should be the opposite; I think it should rather get thinner and thinner (and softer as well) until it fades seamlessly into the void - sure, I have know idea if it's possible to do it this way...

Also, there should be a red version that is very constant light, no jitter or noise or shiver, just one straight ray (again, like a real laser).

If you want, i can make, just for you, a new particle file with the new laser effect in it? then i can send it trough mail (2mb)

I don't know what you can do, regarding my above comments. Maybe they are completely unrealistic to implement in SoC. But sure, it would be a pleasure if you could do something like that for me

I should note that my intend is to use that particle as laser sight rather than fire particle
---END QUOTATION---

The light is a problem yeah, i cant fade out the beam, but i will make the laser itself thinner, with no jitter

send me your email plz

And I still didn't get the answer... Can I use some of your particles in my upcoming mod? Of course, you will be in the credits

In reaction to everyone
, please read some of the articles on the PPx page, there you get clarification, and YES, everyone may use this, but do credit me!

Compiled and all done Ready To download

Thanks, now it's working!

However, regarding lasers, they only look good in third person view (awesome!), but unfortunately not in first person view.

Where you download from now?? Modb has older version!
---END QUOTATION---

Now it has the updated version!

I think you have just saved me at least 5 hours of my life. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

EDIT: Also I just wanted to say that those particles are unbelievably beautiful!

Can I use them in my upcoming mod? That would make atmosphere so much better
