The problem is the sheer amount of weapons the game needs to load. Since the stalkers all now have slightly different weapons, when you get close to places with lots of them the game stabs itself with scissors. I've got similar specs to you, so I get the same problem. I'm guessing that getting more RAM would solve it, since STALKER gobbles that up like crack. It also tends to get bitchy with Vista, so that could be another cause if you have Vista.

I've got very similar specs too, but 4 GB of RAM instead of 2. Sadly I've got Vista, so that extra RAM goes to waste, it seems.

This is what I get after the CTD on Pripyat:

This happened to me both during a normal Windows session and after a clean boot (that is, very few services and almost no programs run on startup). So I guess I need to find a way to optimize RAM on Vista. The whole affair sucks BTW. -_-

As stupid as it may sound, I've found a temporary fix for the Pripyat crash: lowering texture detail

I brought down the console after the stutter that usually preceded the CTD, only to find lots of automatically generated bump maps (you know, the sentences in red).

I know what do you mean, a lot(a bilion to be exact) of 'Creating bump maps blablalbla'
just havent tried to lower the textures, BAH It seems I will play with ugly looking game

You know, either I'm too jaded to care, or playing with low quality textures isn't really that much of a difference for me A shame, though.

I've found 2 "issues" I've found, with the AMK random stashes I've found an FN F2000 (Not the prototype one) in Garbage, in one of the stashes lol.

I think you should remove that, makes the game too easy.

And the other issue is when the blowout starts even the Freedom armory guard goes in the safe room. You know what I mean, with all those LR300s and good Freedom armor in there.

I looks like is for arsenal rc1 I want arsenal 1.2 because it has a better mp5 model.

Hi stalker - you canĀ“t overwrite m_burer.ltx from ol 2.2 with ...ltx from arena extension ! In the m_burer.ltx from ol 2.2 is section for burer_leader and oblivion mod needs this f..ing fat bastard ! Try winmerge or don't use m_burer.ltx from arena extension - this way work for me....I merge this two mods 3 years ago in:

Just download and use - there is exactly files what you need !
