is there a way to get rid of the start up large console window that displays in colors information?

Yes,you can open the file launch.conf (under bin) with notepad and modify ShowConsole=0

[config]
AttachTo=$ExePath$\xr_3da.EXE
ShowConsole=0
xray_params=-noprefetch -no_intro -verbosity 5 -verb_filters PERF -smap3072 -debug_dialogs
FormOnTop=1
NoLauncher=0

For inventory,I write a little help few post ago.
For correct use ,first you need to bind all the necessary keys,and you must have empty-handed to open inventory,so verify all item is out.

The links in the readme of the TKGP traduction are ok.
I play with the torrent I put in dropbox few messages.
But perhaps,be patient a russian author is making a special NLC gamedata with all addons,and modify all the difficult point to make this great game more "friendly " and enjoyable.Hope in one or two days...

The console is very useful now,and when you have a crash,now the console show you directly it (no need to copy paste):

I actually play with the excellent TKGP traduction,(correct some errors as we had in French with the ë, e tréma,Ë).

Enter now in Agroprom,the game is insane,never see that before!
Need to ask tip and help to know how survive in such Zone to russian experimented player

Edit:if you write ShowConsole=1 the game launch without console (as some value in Stalker are inverted)

Google causes problems with these 'ë,é,Ë' diacritic characters and a few others. I try to make corrections based on the language.

Yes,thank you StalkerStein,now,as I know this problem you solve in file NLC7,I look in all files this caracter and correct it.
It a really little thing to do,and your tools are so valuable...

By chance, do you know how to automate the layout xml files ?
or a tip to do that...the comparaison and correction for mod NLC7 will be so easy and fast...
