Sorry, thats how we spell it. Both are correct.

Extract from Chapter V- Unfounded Secrets:
"The leather was so soft, even after being out here for who knows how long.
Inside was a single brown file. The front read in Russian:

Case Designate #447: Lab X6 Report
27/06/2006
Government Property; Top Secret

Although I could barely understand spoken Russian, I could read it rather well."

Chapter V- Unfounded Secrets
“One”
“No! Please” I begged
“Two”
“Stop it!!” I was getting worked up, thinking about the need for weapons, but then Mikeys life sprang into my mind, too late
“Three!” He pulled the trigger...

...a click, quick, metal against metal. A louad pang that made your ears ring.
Sunrise started laughing, the others chuckled. All except Girl, she remained silent.
“Nah, you can keep the stuff. Its not important” I knew he probably didn’t mean it and would try to get it back later
Mikey burst into tears again. Shock and fear messed up his face, it was written all over him, like graffiti on an abandoned factory wall.
“Now get out of here!” The Stalker regaining his hard, angry voice
Mikey grabbed his Enfield which had fallen against the car, we started running.
I just hoped to hell that there weren’t any new anomalies around. We chose a secluded spot between some pine trees and sat on a rock.
“Why was he so serious about those papers?” Mikey asked, still shivering
“I don’t know” I opened the plastic bag and took out the leather briefcase. The leather was so soft, even after being out here for who knows how long.
Inside was a single brown file. The front read in Russian:

Case Designate #447: Lab X6 Report
27/06/2006
Government Property; Top Secret

Although I could barely understand spoken Russian, I could read it rather well.
“I always thought Top Secret was only used in Bond movies” I said sarcastically, Mikey only giving a small nod. He was still traumatized and my try to get some humour out didn’t work at all well, I was never known to be very funny anyways.
The first page just had lists of names, names of experiments and other information. Then I hit another brown envelope, inside were pictures. I took them out, and immediately I could feel the nausea building up. I looked at Mikey, his face turned white.

What we saw was unimaginable. Human bodies, mutated and destroyed beyond recognition. Filling an entire room, all of them labelled with yellow cards with information. Birth Dates, names, place of origin.
I didn’t have the will to continue looking through the document. I could still see their faces, showing no emotion other than fear and sadness. Some of them had grown weird stuff. Tentacles around their mouths, extra limbs. Some looked obese and dwarfed, their body parts grown thick and useless. Soem others were presumably still alive as they were tied down with chains. Several Government soldiers stood at the corners of the room. We saw no other pictures.
I looked North, the sky was turning slowly red and a strange storm was brewing. The wind blowing towards it. I didn’t know what it was, but thought best to stay out of its way. We stumbled back to the rookie camp, both of us still feeling the nausea and shock. Mikey had it even worse.

We reached the rookie camp unscathed. No one was in sight. I saw the doors to Sids bunker and the two cellars were closed.
“What’s going on?” Mikey asked, alert and tensed
“Something strange, I looked back, the sky growing redder and the storm coming closer. Up ahead was a blind dog. It also looked in the same direction. It started running, barking all the way. I knocked on the door of Wolf’s cellar. I heard some footsteps running up the stairs. The door opened to the face of a scared rookie stalker.
“Get in here dammit!” He shouted over the ever loudening noise of the storm. My vision started to blur as we went down the stairs, everything discolouring, tunnel vision came next, opening and closing. My head felt like it was about to explode. The ground started shaking, a terrible noise could be heard, ten times louder than the storm. It eventually stopped a few minutes later.
Wolf came to us.
“You aint felt nothing yet” He said
The voice from an older man. His voice deep and screechy at the same time came from a dark corner: “Further up north, it’s so bad. I’ve been there. It literally rips your feet from under you. Your vision completely disappears, I’ve seen a man who was caught in it, he was fried in seconds. His skin turned bloody re-“
“Enough!” I shouted, already tired of hearing or seeing gruesome stuff
“You’d better be careful, these things hit around every two to five days. You’re very unlucky. The last one was only yesterday morning.”

“Right, lets get to Sid” I took out the brown briefcase and other items. What Sid wanted with these documents, no one knew.
We walked down the stairs, the bottom bunker door still closed. It was rather weird I thought, the top open and bottom closed?
“Ah, you got the stuff?”
“Yes, here it is” Sid looked me carefully over.
“You opened the briefcase didn’t you?” I looked him deep in the eyes
“What the hell is that!?” I was terrified at the thought of it again
“It is a document, entailing everything that was done in lab X6.” I looked at him, questioning what he was talking about. He noticed it
“The X series of labs were setup after the 1986 disaster. Where they are, no one knows. We’ve only ever heard of a few and fewer have been found, never mind found. I hope that’s enough”
“Ok. I understand, about the documents”
“Yes, my ‘partner’ found this a few weeks ago in the Wild Territory. He told me about it but said he’d rather not have me see it. He put it in his stash at the car. I went about finding out about it, I used Nimble to get everywhere and everything. I found very little except that my ‘partner’ had died from an attack by an unknown mutant in the Garbage. Word is that all these labs are fake and that the stories are made up. I know some of it is probably, but some others are true. This is one case where we don’t know. The story about this lab and what it did is unknown and unfounded. We’ve made inquires at the military, but needless to say they weren’t very compliant and arrested, then shot the Stalker who went to them.” His face not showing any emotion, it was obvious he didn’t really give a damn about them
“The secrets of most of the labs are unfounded as I mentioned, stories go around that there are more than thirty X Labs, and some say that there is another series of C labs and B labs. Some of whom were constructed after the 2006 disaster.”
The info from Sid let us baffled, I didn’t know what to make of it. Except that I never want to see any of these. And just the thought of things being constructed after the 2006 disaster was staggering. I just put my mind to the fact that they were unfounded secrets.

Restarting in New Thread

Ok. I'm restarting my story in a new thread now. It is largely different but still follows the same basic storyline, a guy falsely suspected running away to the zone.
