Yes, it works ok. About your question. Create in 'spawn_sections' file... something like this:



[esc_new_rookies]:stalker
$spawn = "respawn\esc_new_rookies"
character_profile = sim_stalker_novice
spec_rank = novice
community = stalker


Now this is important. The name 'esc_new_rookies' is just a name... but it has to be unique. Do NOT duplicate sections.

The rest is easy, use the 'esc_new_rookies' in the alife create stuff script.

I made wolf's community into my faction: "GOD".
I select a difficulty level, game crashes.

That's awesome.
I love the third picture the most because the stalkers are playing
at a different location. I think its more realistic because sometimes the amount of npcs around a camp fire is ridiculous.

What do you mean its a "profile" issue...?

The zombie posed for the picture
That text is so true

Once, I was playing on master difficulty with little health from a huge monolith army I fought in yantar (I spawned them with atlas menu), one more hit from anything would have killed me... The yantar door.. A mere three steps away when a random zombie shoot three times at me with his pm (he hid behind the gates), he missed and I got in... JUST before the door closed fully, he fired once more and... DEAD! I had so much weapons to sell to the "hello! hello!" guy... ¬¬ silly zombies.

Hmm I have a question, I spawned some mercs at the broken house at the other side of the broken bridge in cordon and I would like them to stay still and guard the house. I spawned a merc at the window and he stood there, looking at the other side of the room, staring at the wall and then he walks straight into the military checkpoint... He dies... What must I write in order for the spawned npcs to stand still and sta guard? I saw this tutorial which makes no sense at all for me:

Well, wolf for example (and the other 7 rookies), they belong to 'esc_lager' smart terrain (or gulag). Later in the storyline, wolf 'jumps' to other gulag in AW map ('mil_lager' is the new gulag for him). That feature 'smart terrains' (or gulags), is very advanced. It allows to transfer specific stalkers like npcs, wolf, bes, tolik, nimble, or any other stalker to other locations (in the same map or not).

About, keeping stalkers in specific positions? Well, it's actually very easy. But you don't need smart terrains for that. You must spawn him (via all.spawn or script) and assign logic to him. You want to see something cool? This video and mod was made by me.

Wow thats amazing! I bet that took ages to set that all up.
Never tried to spawn a npc underground

Oh and I finally got my dialogue working. I can go to any npc (for test purposes) and engage in a conversation:

Me: Stalker! I heard there are some mercenaries past the broken bridge?

NPC: Yes! Be careful!
(two mercs spawn at the abandoned house past the military bridge camp)
ME:Yes I will, bye!

By the time I get there, they're either at the farm, almost at garbage or got themselves killed by walking to the military camp. LOL
 
Each word should be at least 3 characters long.
