how would framework look like?

Only 7 hours after you posted and your whining about your post being ignored? People here have other, more importantly things do be doing, mainly RL. I'm truly sorry that the world cannot fall over backwards to help you out immediately with your minor, unimportant question, I truly am.
Since its no problem to ignore your post *ignores rest of post*

*done ignoring*
The fact is, not everyone who posts in a thread may be able to help everyone else. I have a lot of experience with custom GUI programming in Stalker, having added custom hud and inventory elements to the game along with new GUI's, so in any other case, I would have gone off, checked some scripts, come back, and pointed you in the right direction, maybe with some code to help you out. But since your being an impatient arrogant twat, I'm not. So don't throw a hissy fit if someone posts something that doesn't answer your question straight away. You can't get everything you want in life, so suck it up, get over it, and move on.

7 hours, only a single post, and your whining about being ignored. We all have more important things to do. RL takes priority over answering questions here. Not everyone here can spend as much time as you can present here, or online. Most people rechase an ignored post of theirs here after several days, not 7 hours.
Your further post only reinforces your arrogance. The world doesn't revolve around you. Live with it.
Like I said, I would have given you an answer, pointed you in the right direction, but since your being an arrogance asshole, I'm not.

Yes, I can. Here is the basic code you will need. Happy now?
Script code in some .script file linked to bind_stalker somehow.

local hud = get_hud()
local custom_static = hud:GetCustomStatic("my_hud_text")
if custom_static == nil then
	hud:AddCustomStatic("my_hud_text", true)
	hud:GetCustomStatic("my_hud_text"):wnd():SetTextST("st_some_text")
end

XML definition in ui_custom_messages.xml

<my_hud_text  x="30" y="200" width="600" height="100" complex_mode="1">
	<text font="graffiti22"  r="240" g="217" b="182" a="255" align="c"/>
</my_hud_text>

And I'm not trying to play any game here. What I am trying to do is tell you (unsuccessfully) is that you cannot expect an answer here immediately, or within a short space of time, or that the first post will have the answer you seek/need. This forum moves at its own pace, not yours, not mine, not anyones. And we have to move at its pace, not it moving to ours.
Now, if you had the patience to wait 24 hours before coming up with your ignored comment, I would have given you this code when I first came here and saw your post, and this whole debate/argument would never had happened.

Now, can we finally leave this argument behind?

look, i feel uncomfortable after writing my 2 quick, angry posts, so i am back to say sorry.
problem is, that i got whole 3 answers for usually simple, yet important questions for almost YEAR so far.
i used to operate quick, and things that happened lately have damaged me enough to lose patience sometimes(and led me to drop any moderator functions i had for years(not there, of course)).
i am tired.
it was not personal attack, since i do know nothing about you.

since reading about "how to find that bag/gun/whatever" became boring, i got interest in engine mechanics, questions are inevitable, then.

so let me say:
sorry for my posts, sorry for offending you,
but try to understand.
there are plenty of people here, anyone could help,
so share knowledge, people.

no more problems from me, guys.
(so many questions still left, though..).

ahh, and thanks for code, i will check it...this is fascinating - equippable rss reader that checks mod updates..hmmm.

Suppose I should apologize as well. I had to get up early today, and I'm not a morning person, so generally I'm rather irritable (and still half asleep). Normally I just blow on through here on these mornings, but sometimes I notice something that I just react to. Your not the first to suffer my irritation on a morning like this. I've done this once before.
Nobodies perfect, not you or me.[/offtopic]

With an rss reader, you might want it to write information out to a file periodically, then from within the script, after a given interval, open the file, read in its contents, remove the display and display the new contents on the screen. That's what I would do at any rate.

yes, this is exactly what i am thinking about. now i need to find rss reader that properly can parse data to txt. it should not be a problem, so whole thing is real.

Each word should be at least 3 characters long.
