Is there a global value that dictates Trader buy percentage ?
I am having trouble finding a mod that makes the game economy incredibly harsh on the player. Just recently i installed Lurk-1.1, and at first i thought it was limiting monetary exploitation, until i picked up 3 rifles and sold them for 1500 roubles each. This was in the first 5 minutes of the game mind you.
I wanted to know if there is a global value or switch i can use that will make (any item with a base value of over 100) have a 5% sell value ? (without having to edit each item manually)
It is for this reason why i suddenly stopped playing ABC - Inferno. I had that much money, that i would just buy a 50,000r weapon whenever my weapon lost 5% integrity instead of repairing it.
Each time i went into Wild territory, i would have 100,000 - 200,000 roubles worth of loot before i even got to the train tracks. It just takes all fun out of the game when you can afford everything. At this point, money and looting was essentially useless.
Stalker is a game that is best enjoyed when orientated around survival, you shouldn't have enough money to construct small cities before you even leave the Garbage, which tends to be the case in all my games.
Running out of ammo because you simply cannot afford more is where it's at.

Hmm, i take it there is no such function or possibility of adding a "switch" to the LTX files.
In that case, could anyone recommend a program that lets you easily edit duplicate entries. This mouse-click editing is driving me nuts lol.

Get notepad++, open all files and click "Replace all" ---END QUOTATION---
Oh sweet, thanks much!

Yes, notepad++ is very useful. Note the function of column selecting (select with alt key pressed). In trader files you can easily select whole column of entries and copy it to another place. |
