What are you trying to save/load exactly? I don't understand why you are trying to save the tables. It looks like you are trying to do something really simple in a very complicated way. There should be only two value you need to save/load and that's the respawn time and ids for each spawner.

I would also create a class instead of using that big table.

I made a spawn manager for Call of Pripyat if you are interested. It only requires you to put 3 functions into bind_stalker, se_stalker and se_monster. It allows you to spawn NPC sections anywhere via a config. It should work for Shadow of Chernobyl.

I packed it up with a config with your spawns in it. If it doesn't work then it's most likely due to a function that exists in the COP that doesn't in Shadow of Chernobyl. I can't remember if CTime is in Shoc.

Either way you are more then welcome to modify it to fit your needs. The bind_stalker.script, se_stalker.script and se_monster.script are from Call of Pripyat. So just put the correct callbacks into your versions.

Are you sure you are using the right section name? se_obj shouldn't be nil after you created the NPC. Pastebin your config.

No you don't need that.

http://pastebin.com/FMg9NeDb

I changed the register and unregister functions to take the ids as parameters instead of the object itself so it shouldn't crash there anymore atleast.

Also in actor_binder make sure the spawn_manager save and load functions are the last ones call in the actor_binder save and load functions.

Put a print statement on load to make sure you are getting the right info loaded.
