mutant camp capactity?

Does anyone know what controls the number of mutants that can occupy a camp in amk dmx, for example at the barrier in the military warehouses izloms are set to respawn every 24 hours, max of 2 izloms per respawn, i have already decreased the respawn rate to every 3 days (as 12 izloms and two chimeras is a joke being so tough) but want to limit the number that can spawn to give the people at the barrier a chance and hopefully stop them all getting wiped out and the barrier turning hostile

It's the same thing for all mods.
You could find the capacity of each smart_terrain spawn section (in all.spawn file), like this:

The capacity is the number of jobs in gulag script and gulag .ltx.
You could decrease the smart terrain capacity without problems.
If you want to increase them, you need to create new jobs, particulary for npc.

You could too control the communities for mutants smarties in the same section.

Thanks, a few game days ago i had a play with the immunities and made people more resistant to mutant attacks, they can and do get killed by mutants but nothing like as it was which feels nicer, do you know the name for the freedom barrier (as it would appear in alife_l07_military.ltx) i havent tested it yet but i have a feeling most of the group at the barrier are sat round the fire rather than being on guard so when you approach they and the mutants come online, mutants take them by surprise

This is name of smarties near the barrier:

mutants = mil_monster

monolith = mil_monolit

freedom = mil_fblockpost (on the hill, near the freedom chief and the wagon)
freedom = mil_fneutral (at the barrier)

how do you extend the distance that monsters can wander from their smart terrains (or gulags, or whatever)?

Use min_distance and max_distance. this is the minimum and maximum distance that the mutant will attack you. Basically if you are between the two then it will attack.

na, thats not it. i need the distance they will pursue you from the centre of their smart terrain?..

AFAIK It is done through custom data logic with the mob_home scheme:

The default values are in mob_home.script. Same for mob_camp.
