Please stay on topic. Anything not topic related can be sent in a PM. Also a gaint snake wouldn't last long in the zone. To many swarms of creatures with speical abilites.

to stay on the topic rats can be eaten by cats and dogs who are either crazy or very very very hungry and for the snakes it's just impossible to be any arround there because as someone mentioned it's just too cold for them there(in our country there are 2 snake types(we have borders with ukraine) and they are both small and dont attack people the first one strangles its victim and the second one injects venom(from what i heard only 1 man died from that venom in 50 or more years))
