Emphasize the solo aspect

After playing boiling point (hoping it'll tide me over for longer than 2 days.... ) i was sorely dissapointed, which made me think of something similar happening with stalker.

In boiling point you didnt feel alone, it felt more like GTA, battles happened in the same exact spot, with no reinforcements for the losing team etc. There was an insane abundance in vehicles etc. and got very boring, very quickly.

What im saying is, even if youve joined a clan in stalker, you should feel like "i can just leave any time" or "they will abandon/kill me if i screw up" i want to feel alone, i want to feel like i have to survive and not have insanely easy "challenges" thrown in my face such as an abundance of vehicles, make the vehicles limited to roads, and going offroad with all the overgrown foliage etc. seriously detrimental to the vehicles state stuff like that.

Take a look at battlefield 2, which encourages teamwork. If you dont join a squad and work with that squad, you feel like a 10 year old with a gun, helpless in oncoming and organised foes. With a squad, theres a morale boost, a desire to do good things for the squad and a fear of failure. Id like a similar kind of feeling in stalker

I know it sounds silly asking this so late in the dev process (as they seem to be trying to incorperate a ton of requests in order to satisfy the fans wishes for the game) and i actually expect this feeling was established several months (or even a year or so) back anyways

I have absolutely no doubt that alienation and solitude will be very strong
feelings throughout the game, even if you join a clan.

If you *don't* join one (I'm not likely too, I'll help from time to time if I
can, but why obligate yourself?) the relatively few times you encounter
a person will be mostly strangers.

I imagine most of the AI stalkers you encounter and leave on friendly
terms with will die.. the Zone is a harsh place.

i agree this is not the tactical squad based kinda game. but it is kind to the people who want to join a clan and im sure the online play will be more of what your looking for in regards to teams.

I don't think either of us are looking for teams at all! I was just noting
that it was pretty likely that unless you specifically went looking for
people, you'd probably not run into them in numbers (well, military
patrols or clan hunting clan action aside )
