new anomaly zone...

i dont think that you could call this an anomaly zone...perhaps a creature more than a zone... BUT! in to the businnes, the radiation levels have altered the natural vegetation to a horrific, aggressive plant thing, that, while cant move is very dangerous, because it will pull you underground!!! .to get out of this ghastly situation you must use your knife against the "main vine" before youre corroded to a bloody pulp. thats my idea, whatcha say? oh yes, you could detect these things by looking at the ground and see it move a bit.

Personally, I like it. Pretty good idea, but I have a feeling that it will piss me off to the point that I will set my comp on fire. You could've also put it on my Monster Suggestions thread. How will you know which vine is the "main vine"? I ahve a feeling that there are WAY too many ways for a Stalker to die. I would've switched the "meat grinder" with your idea! I like it, it would be nice if it was in the game instead of another anomaly.

well, i was thinking the main vine would be much thicker than the others and it would have some kind of a distinctive feature... like a pulsing heart or mouth. and as a new detection method id suggest throwing a rock on the suspected area and it would pull it underground.

I love it but I don’t think you should be able to kill it... I more think it’s like a gravity well kind of, it will slow your escape and if you can’t get out you die... this "main vine" might make this all too easy to escape from seeing as how if you have 50 vines moving it will require a lot of CPU usage... But if it works i like the "main vine" idea.

This sounds more like a creature than an anomalie or a zone. I think 'anomalie zone' would be a little redundant, considering the entire zone is an anomalie zone. I think a better name for it would be 'dangerous plant.'

I will explain the main vine thing... the creature would look something like this... http://www.classicgaming.com/contra/games/neocontra/plantmonster.jpg
(this is a picture what i found when i typed Plant monster in google )so you must slash the red main vine when you are pulled underground, as you are being slapped by the smaller vines and corroded by the acids the main vine spits.

Pretty good idea. Maybe, with the radiation, it could've assimilated other creatures (like the rats). The rats could be on the ends of some vines which it uses to lure prey into its trap.

I dont think it's a good idea, and i dont think radiation affect's plants to a degree it get's the idea of a murder rampage on a stalker/mutant whatever :/ ''Hey look at me im trying to hide in this here field with alot of plants from those stalkers i want to kill, whoops did not notice that plant that ate me for no reason '' Kind of annoying, but again it could be more of a challenge But then i whould DEMAND a flamethrower with all it's glory. Just so majestic

Im ok with organic eating plants as long as there are molotov cocktails involved and a flamethrower. Then and ONLY THEN is it a good idea (been looking for a chance to sqeese the flamethrower in )

Btw how big whould the plant be then, different sizes maybe? Cuz it whould be rather stupid in a cornfield or something a giant plant whould be waving around in all it's glory
