S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The Infection. Part2

I was rolling around on the floor in pain trying not to make much noise so Grigory did not come over to the cabin. All of a sudden the pain stopped, I got up thinking why did it stop. I looked through the backpack but found nothing which would have been any use of finding out who I was. I decided to go to the facility, I could not exactly remember where it was but I needed to start. The facility could not be that far away. I walked out of the cabin holding my gut to stop it from bleeding.
I walked down the steps and off into the dark and misty swamps. I did not have any weapons to protect myself from any mutant, it was a bad idea to go into a bloodsucker infested swamp.

It was hard to see through the mist, it was so think I could only see about a metre. I knew that I was in danger every step that I took, something was going to attack me soon and I knew it. I kept walking through the think mud and the long grass whilst there were noises everywhere. Mostly the noises were made by bugs but often you could hear gunshots in the distant.

I stopped for a second as I heard a faint noise, it sounded like a growl of some sort. It did not sound like a dog at all. The only thing I could think of was a snork, I hate those damn things. I waited, there was another growl but it was louder. I did not want to fight a snork with my bear hands because of their power when they hit you. I quickly went from standing still in the swamp to running as fast as I could. It was slow running because my feet kept on getting stuck in the mud of the murky swamp. The mist began to grow thicker as I ran deeper into the swamp. I thought to myself, I do not want to be running through the swamp but on the outside of it. I turned to the right and went that way.

As I was running I tripped on something which was low on the ground. At first I thought it was a metal pipe or something. I tried to see what it was but I could not see in the darkness. I felt whatever it was hoping that it wasn't going to bite my hand off. It felt like a body, it had multiple bullet holes. Most likely pellets from a SG shell. I felt around the body and found a strap, I pulled the strap and it was attached to a weapon. I picked up the weapon and examined it, the weapon felt like an Ak of some sort. I took out the magazine and felt inside of it with my fingers. I couldn't feel and bullets as far as my fingers could go.I searched the backpack for ammunition but everything had already been looted. I put the magazine back into the Ak and walked on.

The sun had started to rise and most of the mist had went away and it was nice to feel the morning heat after the cold of the night. I was lucky not to be attacked by anything during the night but I am still in danger during the day time. I had finnaly reached the side of the swamp and it looked like an old military base. I kept the Ak out maybe to catch someone off guard and make them think that it was loaded. I walked into the base but it was bare of any life signs. There was a light flickering and all the rest were busted. I looked around for ammunition and supplies. There was a locked door which seemed to have the writting "Armoury" on it. I wanted to get this door open to see what was inside but I knew that there could be anything waiting in there.

I stepped back and tried kicking the wooden door as hard as possible. My foot smacked the door and made a hole in it. I tried again but closer to the door handle so I could reach in and open the door. I kicked it as hard as I could and made another hole. I was a bit frightful of putting my hand inside of the door because something might grab a hold of my hand. I grabbed a chair and snapped a legg off of it, I stuck the wooden leg through the hole of the door and nothing grabbed hold of it. I stuck my hand in through the hole and unlocked the door. I slowly opened the door, there was a dead body laying against the door. I jumped back as it fell and nilly landed on me. I walked inside the armour and noticed that it was full of old and worn weapons. There were some boxes of ammunition inside aswell. I picked up the box of ammunition and began to load the magazine for the Ak. Once I had filled that one I grabbed one of the old Ak's and took it's magazine off and loaded it. I put the magazine in and thought I should test it.

I walked outside and fired one off. The gun worked like in was new, I went back inside and grabbed some more magazines and loaded them. I walked away from the base now having some protection as I journied to the facility.

Only two parts of the book will be released. Once the book is finished alot more detail will be put in so it will be more realistic. I hope that this book once finished will grab alot of attention and will be totally free. It will not be a big book but a small one.
