Correct. It is also properly .ogg commented.

Did I need to make any changes or additions to w_pm.ltx?

Nope. I have no clue why it's not working for you. It seems the problem is sound_object.

I take it you have tested the sound with something like

		snd_obj = sound_object("Darius\\rifle_empty")
		snd_obj:play(db.actor, 0, sound_object.s2d)

Hmm, maybe sound_object.s2d is missing. In CoP it's not required in the call to play_at_pos(). Try:


snd:play_at_pos(db.actor,db.actor:position(),0,sound_object.s2d)




Does play(), follow the object you call it on? If so he should use that instead.

below are couple of examples from amk that uses play_at_pos

      local snd_obj = sound_object("characters_voice\\human_01\\zombied\\fight\\attack\\attack_"..math.random(1,8))
      snd_obj:play_at_pos (db.actor, obj:position())


suit_snd_obj = sound_object([[darius\mask_b1_0]]
suit_snd_obj:play_at_pos(db.actor,pos_snd,0,sound_object.s2d+sound_object.looped) 



I haven't messed with sounds in a while I'd have to experiment to figure the particulars.

Ok, so I think the issue is within actor_on_update. Maybe with actor_scope. I put in some debug printf lines and I don't get any of them back from within the function.

Do those print for you in CoP, Alundaio?
 
Each word should be at least 3 characters long.
