Priority problem with two texture hud mods

Hi guys,

I've ran into a problem recently while merging 2 hud mods: the gamasks mod by Thunderfreak and my own (which basically displays a texture on screen and update it if needed).

The problem is that the gasmaks textures are always on top of my own texture, and I kinda want the exact opposite.

I tried to call the gasmask update function first in the "bind_stalker.script" but that didn't do the trick. I'm actually stuck on this.

Any ideas?

Why not?

The problem is easy to fix. The gas masks are permanently checked.

You have to put an additional check to the script, checking if the texture has changed.

Idk yet which version of the gas masks scripts you are using, but usually you have to put the additional check in the function 'setmysuithud()' as the first line of the function.

if hudtype == mycurrent_suithud then return end

This should do the trick.

Thanks for answering Thunderfreak.

Actually, as I developped my mod separetely from the gasmasks one, I didn't need to update my textures everytime. But now, by doing so, it works. My textures are updated, no matter if yours are displayed or not, mine always are on top , and that's what I wanted.

Thanks.

@Loner1
I think the modding discussion threads should be used rather than PM. I believe the purpose of a community and this website is to help each other. Maybe this thread will help other modder in the future, maybe not.
If I had PM Thunderfreak, it surely wouldn't have .
