Thank you for your answers.
I'll probably won't be able to figure all this out by myself, but at least I know it's possible. Right now I might just add more info_portions after quests/dialogues.

Thanks again!

Not too hard... but can mean editing the all.spawn, the config scripts, the engine scripts, or countless other variables...

If you create a new I_P, it has to be given to the actor at some point - either via an engine script, based on factors... with a config script during an event, when entering a specific area (via all.spawn), or through dialogue with other NPCs. But, once an I-P is given, it remains with the actor unless it is taken away, then that conditional (whether the actor has the I_P or not) no longer exists...

It could be something as basic as, using an engine script, to give the actor a specific I_P based on what time of day it is, then take it away if it's not that time of day... this won't necessarily change the trader's stock, but only what items they offer for sale.

Any time the trader has to "come online," the engine compares current I_P's to the trader's inventory conditionals, and based on what I_P the actor has, the trader's inventory is randomized and generated. Which is why, if you save your game beside a trader, you can keep re-loading said game until rare items appear... this was an old trick we used when attempting to get a 5.45 groza from Sid before ever taking the Wolf mission to free Nimble. It's rare, but occasionally Sid will sell it this early.

As to when the trader "restocks" - again, save and then re-load your game, or leave their immediate vicinity and return... the store will be fully restocked.

No ideas on this one?

Create more info portions for the game to check and replenish the stock's from, but that would mean creating more stocks for the traders or just picking the already existing ones

IDK how to work with info_portions though...

Store Re-supply after a number of days?

Hi there,
In Vanilla SOC the in-game stores (Sid's, Barman's etc.) restock only after key missions are completed. Does anyone know if it is possible to make the game check for the number of days passed during gameplay and to perform restocks in these shops after, let's say, 4 or 5 days?

I'd appreciate any help.
Cheers!
