Been a longtime moddb'er, so it's great to see you there.
Re: faction wars, blowouts etc. I suppose once you release L.U.R.K., there's nothing to stop other modders from attempting to integrate their choice of features into your mod (as wolfehunter has for OL)? From a player's perspective, it's certainly better to have a solid base on which to add other mods according to personal preference, than to be burdened with a bunch of immersion-killers that require delicate "mod surgery" to remove.
You're obviously an intelligent bunch and perfectionists to boot.  Are the other members of L.U.R.K. on these boards? If not, please extend my gratitude to your team for all their hard work on this project. And you're all from 4chan? Guess I should stop by there more often...  |
