I almost forgot to address your post Trojanuch! I'm very happy that you brought light to these possible issues that you mentioned, because once I spent more time looking at them, I realized that you were completely right! I'm having issues where the weather transitions don't coordinate properly, and rain starts even when the sky is perfectly devoid of clouds! If I could recruit your assistance then I'd be very happy, for it would seem your knowledge of the Stalker weather configurations far exceeds mine obviously.

Well - if I'm to be honest - I have to say I'll pass...

I have some projects of my own which are already behind the schedule very much - so getting involved in another thing (even if it is so promising as yours seem to be) is out of question atm (beside SWO3 is more or less 100% my vision of how weather in SHOC should be like - so I think I would be incapable of producing anything different)

I can only say - that if you want to have already balanced, coherent and issueless dynamic weather system in your mod than why don't you use SWO3 or nandersens DW as a whole?

However - if you really want to have merged weather - I can only say: pls feel free to use any assets from SWO package and offer you my assistance on this forum - should any technical problems arise for you.

As to stealth - I think imperial has aready made all sounds ready-to-use by anyone attepting to implement stealth - so I think you should d/l the newest AAO asap - add all the sounds to your package and begin testing your settings with them.
I've also checked all existing stealth implementation attempts - make it AMK, OL, Priboy, ABC. But after reading your post and previous imperial ones on SoundEFX - a small hope has began to grow inside me - again

Good luck Stalker And it was hell of a good polemic post - the last one you've posted here

EDIT: A little suggestion that just poped to my mind - you should think about adding Jamies Faction Wars to your pack (even the first version that is not yet merged with ZRP) - SHOC became unplayable for me without FW cause I simply cannot stand exacly same locatons for all factions in every playtrough. FW so far is the only mod that manged to make things actually random.

Imperial Reign, your offer for support couldn't have come at a better time, however you should know that your support would require more investment then you might envision, seeing as how we need to completely overhaul the sound perception of NPC's, and thusly create ogg files that properly balance and scale to one another under these conditions.

s'all good - although due to my own projects, I don't have the time to offer my full attention to your endeavors, I'm still willing to offer assistance here and there . . .

in regards to the audio, feel free to use any aspect of AA01.8 or SoundEFX 0.6 . . . many of the sound effects, I feel, are properly commented for gameplay - I've tried to maintain a balance of realistic hearable distances, without strange NPC reactions. I'd go into my methods further, but I don't want to further de-rail this thread now that it seems to be getting back on track.

If you're using Sound Overhaul 1.7, I can send you some re-commented weapon and equipment sounds . . . although, I haven't spent too much time testing these out, as we're still waiting on Darius6's Sound Overhaul 2.0 (which should be hopefully soon ).

Sorry for the off-topic, but yeah, SO 2.0 will be done soon. Now that I've nearly completed my other projects for now, I can concentrate on this again.

Could it be possible to implement in this mod severe weather conditions i.e. rainstorm (maybe snowstorm), fog, darkness which would affect NPCs as well as actor? I mean their ability to see, hear and act.

Edit: ZRP could be good addition too.

i'm curious as to one particular thing:
how did you move the gun further towards the center of the screen? is it a FOV increase or something? how did you do it?

Hope this will create a nice blend of features,as well as add some nice new and original stuff from you.
Still, with absolutely no criticism towards this mod,I'd would like to see more completely original stuff made for SoC.This game isn't through yet.
Much more can be done with it.
