Holden's thinking along the same lines as you guys where he just doesn't like them, at least the joke of a way they're currently implemented, but many still want them, myself included. So we're going to rework them, but we're waiting for Argus to finish his aesthetic mod of blowouts. |

Is it going to be included as an optional feature? |

I hope not. "Optional feature"s have a tendency to complicate install scripts and mod file structures to a ridiculous degree. I am optimistic that the LURK team aren't going to fall into the trap of trying to be everything to everyone and instead release a solid, well constructed mod that people can change if they feel the need.
I'd be fine with or without blow-outs as long as they are either there or not there. Options complicate debugging and installing too much. |

any chance then that they could be an optional part, something that you can choose not to use with the mod - and if not could you let those of us who don't like emissions being added know how to remove them ---END QUOTATION---
That's what I said. -_-
Kaine, that makes sense. I don't mind them too much, so long as they're implemented nicely.
The problem with OL's blowouts is that given the correct gear, it's possible to survive out in the open for the full duration of a blowout. I think the timing could use some work, too. |

Kaine got it. Completely removed until they're fixed, which will most likely be a future patch, for the reasons Kaine stated. Too much work and testing for a crappy system we plan on overhauling later. AI's a joke for blowouts, blowouts are way too forgiving, and they're way too often. |

Fantastic
Still haven't got an answer (far as I can tell) about how Medkits work. Insta-health is fail and there is a mod around (it's in Rebalanced haven't seen it on it's own though) that makes medkits regenerate health over time instead. Is there a direction on this yet? |
