How to pack .db files

Hello there Stalkers!

Can anyone tell me how to pack the gamedata folders crrectly for SoC? I'd like to pack a texture pack but I failed miserably

I used both converter.exe from X-Ray Engine Toolset and socpup.exe from zrp page with options "-pack gamedata/ -2947ww -out gamedata.dbX", where X is the first letter after original game files. The game starts and loads fine but seems to ignore my db file, texture are not replaced at all.

Hi there.

If you have "socpup", then put the "socpup.exe" file in the same folder as your gamedata that you want to repack as a DB file.

then run the following command:
x:\socpup gamedata

where "x" is the letter of your hard drive disk.

Once the DB file is done, rename it so it "matches" the other DB file naming sequence.
The order is important; the game files use the gamedata.db0 to gamedata.db9, and the patches gamedata.dba to gamedata.dbd, si I suggest your start naming your repack files from gamedata.dbe.
Yes, you can have multiple custom DB files, it's useful for patching your own mod

Eh, I should not do this stuff at night

The problem was a typo in the folder name (textrues), the command line I was using its fine.
