I'm having a problem in Pripyat. Some of my saves wont reload and I have to keep on going back to some other. Now I can get around that except I cant find any route on to a new area so I am stuck.

Has anyone reached Pripyat yet and found a way through? When you enter you get an sos task which is from Sauron but I'm unable to keep him alive for long. Going north on the map is dangerous, as you'll see. I have traversed the whole of this Pripyat map but cant find a route out other than back the way I came.
Actually let me go check all the different tunnels see if any of them leads to the SHOC Pripyat or anywhere else.

Grab a couple of any battery types you come across just in case you find you need them.

I never had any luck with that and ended up spending an hour doing some text rewrites. Anyway I managed to save Sauron in the end which was good as he makes the Monolith no longer hostile and gives you an unknown effect artefact as a reward (compass) I still don't know how to move on though I pray it's not the way I came because I have just been trying that and keep getting torn a new one by tonnes of mutants down there, Snorks, burers etc. I bet it is though as I saw one file that was about what it called jupiter underpass and about it having links to the warlab, x10, x18 and numerous other places. And if it is the same underpass it is one nasty place not like in COP.

When you see Sauron the task is for you to lead him somewhere safely.

Get him to the Riverport, via hospital, clear route before you go see him then don't hang around just go, he will follow, hang around and he dies.

I found a route in the underpass and ended up in the Clear sky Red forest. Went and saw Forester who gave some tasks which include one in Limansk and I am now heading to the bridge as I'm presuming the route to Limansk will be the same as in CS.

Plenty going on in this mod.

In Red forest and Limansk I am getting the concrete road/tarmac flickering funnily, as if between different types. At the moment I have it on low quality and static lighting as I wanted quick loads for going in and out for text writing. So I have just maxed it all to see if it still happens. Nothing is going wrong no crashes or stutters or anything just the tarmac flickering. On MOD DB there is one called Apocalypse which does textures etc for the mods and I downloaded it a while back to find any nice ones as an alternative or to add to Mr C's work. I added some and some of the Level builds from it to this earlier but it has had no effect on the flickering either so I will check the full dynamic now.

Yeah that fixed the flickering .

I have a great idea for this mod. Remember the dice game in nlc6 played for small amounts or rubles? Would you like to see the game of Russian roulette in this mod? It goes like this: 2 npcs, each armed wit a 6 rounds rotor revolver loaded with 1 round take turns in 'clicking' at each other once. The sights are pointed at their heads. They repeat the process until 1 of them dies. The winner takes the loot off the other+a large ammount of cash. Killing the npc like this does not turn anyone hostile towards the player. If the player loses, he dies of course. You get to load a saved game & try again. Whaddaya say? Of course, the revolver would have to be a very powerful(hit power 6-8 & such)weapon, to ensure that the player dies if the other npc gets a round in the chamber. It's unusable, except during this game.

1. install fresh copy of SoC and patch to v1.0006
2. edit fsgame.ltx and change the following line: false to true

install 'LW_TOD.exe' (standard Windows install) all you have to do is choose the game folder 'S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl'

the install will create a 'gamedata' folder and replace three files in the existing 'bin' folder

then apply the lastest patches 1.1 and 1.2
then apply 'iloveSHOC' translations
then setup options, start new game

j8 Use normal SHOC game patch it with 1,0005 then go to stalker files and get the update to turn 1,0005 into 1,0006.

Then use Troops of Doom auto installer but change place in box so it installs to correct place. Then use patches in the downloads, I do not know if 1.3 contains 1.1 and 1.2 or not. I just have them added 1 on top of the other.

After patches add translation. There is also a textures exe type loader that is for sorting some visuals in dynamic lighting.

playthrough I was heading for Limansk but stopped off somewhere in Red forest and found another area link. It is the caves map at the beginning of Solyanka (The one there is a cave save for) I hated this bloody map. Oh well now I am here I realise I had a reason to come here. A task can't remember who from at the mo. It might of been Noah who is in the forest.

Patch 1.3
I put it on Megaupload with the other patches.

Is there a way to change this mod to create sequencial saves?

I had a few hours into the game and CRASH. Now the save file will not load.

Hi, I just wonder if there are somewhere some info of transition points?
I was just fighting snorks, rats and burers in prip.underpass and popped out in red forest and not in easter pripyat where i thought I was going. So I think maps in this mod can be reached from everywhere, if you are lucky to hit the transition point. But this is good, only couple of corrupt saves (in Backwater).

With this being a sequel to lost world requital the transitions may be the same try the LWR transitions found here in the very bottom category is some screen shots of the transitions.
