True! And, like you stated...i think i can safely say Vintar is the new Barin, i do miss the old guys, but they moved on. I still have "some" contact with Bac9-flcl on Crymod.net. He is one hell of a Crystalker now!

Well I saw this and nearly spat my tea all over my lappies screen

I am certainly not the "new" Barin for two reasons :

1) Barin is a scripting / programming God, i am not
2) Barin hates using SDK and i hate using ACDC

Speaking of Kanyhalos, those were good days. Actually he was the one who got me interested in modding and particularly Lua scripting, and not so long ago he asked me for help on a script, so "the circle is complete" I guess
Barin taught me all I know about Lua scripting and Dez taught me the SDK and Griphoon continues to teach me every day, three geniuses right there.

Haha, i've seen you grow man

And, i dont think so i spoke to him, he said he has no interest in the old STALKER series, maybe stalker 2, but as GSC closed...i think he will stay with Ce2 and Ce3. He is already really great at these two, so, why not move on? its his choice ^^

New Side Missions(Will Start), Storyline (Will Start), New Maps (Complete), New Spawns (Working On It), Graphics (Working On It), New Weapons (Have heaps of high quality only guns).

We will see about more ideas which I have thought up.

Also, ThunderFreak is also in the team but he has a tonne of things to do himself in real life so lets just leave it at that.

I do mainly graphical art but am learning Stalkers script as I move a long. I merged everything which is currently in the mod myself (Thunder helped with an error which was making me angry).

Anything else you need to know?

You meatheads have gone so far off topic and littered this thread with such meaningless BS it's funny.
This was meant to help people (noobs) use an executable to play large levels in the SHoC engine. Instead you made it like most GSC forum threads...useless!!!!
If you wish to stroke one another or rehash old times start a general thread...is there a moderator alive here!

I'd like to make the things a little more straightforward - many ppl don't know what these fixes are good for.

The XR_3DA.exe supposed to avoid this CTD on WW 1.0005 versions of the SOC (this error emerges mainly if someone plays CS/COP maps on SOC engine):

files, what i posted few years ago, fixing BSOD errors with SB X-fi cards. Some mods overburdens the vanilla dll-s over the top, and with these dll-s you can avoid the dreaded blue screen. Many ppl posted positive fedback, for example they could load saves, what caused 100% bsod in certain places in the game.

But... noone posted any feedback, how these files working, or not working, should we delete them, or they REALLY fix these problems.

I don't know those eax.dll, OpenAL32.dll, and wrap_oal.dll files, but I can say that I didn't have any of those awful byte crashes you're describing since I installed this "super bin" (several weeks ago)!

I got weird looking graphical artifacts in some places, but I guess these places are perfectly those which would have caused the CTDs prior to running the modified bin.

So, until now I'm quite happy with that stuff
