---QUOTATION---

I can tell you one thing - this bug is as old as SoC itself - a very well known vanilla issue.
It was fixed in AMK if I remember but I dont know how and never tried to implement it for SWO.

---END QUOTATION---

Well that's too bad. Sort of embarrassing that I've never noticed it before. Oh well.

Anyway, 3.1 looks great so far. I've also decided to add AAO to make things even better, and what I've cobbled to together seems to work, though there's no telling what I'm missing by using the SWO3.0 comp pack.
I've kept the levels_weathers.script from 3.1, but I've had to take the other weather configs from the 3.0 comp pack to make sure I get all the ambient weather sounds.

Hopefully ImperialReign will put out a new comp pack soon!

I'll get into it this weekend. Although I haven't updated any sound schemes yet, I'll go through it and get the ambient sections configured for the weather cycles.

I've been rather busy between FS, working on AAO:CS/CoP, and some other side work for LA.

Dexxx's Blowouts ( OGSM) and SWO 3.1

On game load and re-load ogsm_funcs.script loads the ogsm weather.

Fix

In the ogsm_func.script change 2 lines.
1 Change the wthr
--wthr = level.get_weather
wthr = level.get_weather()

2 Comment the level.set_weather("ogsm",true) line out to prevent loading of the OGSM weather. This will not effect blowouts. They still work correctly and look correct.

wthr = level.get_weather("self.weather_name", true)
--level.set_weather("ogsm",true)

There is also no thunder lingering on reload. Have not checked level change as of this post. I see no reason it will not be fine and no thunder linger for 5 game minutes.

Anyone else have this issue or just me?

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you saying that when you change levels or otherwise reload a save, some of the thunder .ogg's that involve lingering thunder don't play anymore?

I had not noticed this, though I generally stop paying attention to the ambient sounds whenever the rain goes silent due to a reload, which is when the thunder plays.

Are you using an OGSM blowout...if not no issue.

The issues above are removed with the two changed lines in ogsm_func.script

Oops, I thought that your second problem was unrelated to OGSM. My mistake.

Many thanks for the update.
I have this mod installed for a long time and I'm planing later on today to test the new update and maybe do a fresh install of the full mod along with argus textures.

If I may ask... I only need these two files to download from your sig right ?
S.W.O. v3.1 - download and S.W.O. v3.1.1 UPDATE - download (NEW!)

I must say this is looking good, definitely has some improovements especially lighting effects.

After aplying argus textures I had to paste from the SWO3.1.1 vanilla shaders because the argus optional shaders makes my game crash, "Your video card doesn't meet the game requirements " or something along these lines, though my card is more than capable.

Anyway that's not an issue I just wanted to put it out there, maybe someone else has the same experience.

I got one question:

- as always: sunrise and sunset timezone synchronization (Kiev, 01.05.2012) and semi-real, east-west sun arch (sun rises in the east and sets in the west)

This feature, how does it work? I want to add that to vanilla, as the pack is still too big to my liking, even with the reduced skyboxes.

Looks awesome btw, I'm just limited on harddrive space and can't afford to go installing big mods like nothing.
