Would i be able to change what the dealers sell? I hope so, because i want to make a mod which solves two problems; the problem of having no good special ammo (special 7.62, darts, etc) and also having too much money and nothing to buy. Hopefully with this i could make it that dealers later in the game sell really good ammo, but ill up the price significantly. Do you think this is feasable?

I wanted the better ammo, too. But i was not able to change the dealers inventory (yet). I found some values that should do that, but the game seems to ignore them. Therefore I chose a different approach and changed the ammo the enemies leave. I could kiss you. Thanks to this mod tool, I can now drop a guy from 50 yards away with 1 or 2 bursts from an SMG, and they drop relatively fast now. Also, I no longer die in 3 hits, so the game is MUCH easier for me, but still very possible to get killed if I'm not careful. This game is now 10x more fun. Thanks a million!

Maybe now I can tweak with the economy. Right now $1 USD is worth about 5 Hryvnia, but after the collapse of the Sarcophagus ingame in 2006 I'd imagine it'd be as bad as, if not far worse than, the Ruble(this could be why the Ukraine is using Russian currency).

Weapon prices can be researched and supplies estimated, and then add a little bit of tax because the Cordon checkpoint guards have to be bribed to get this stuff into the Zone.

What's Up With This?

Too bad prices on items you've flooded the trader with can't drop when he has a surplus...

[ERROR REPORT] There is an in this program where range and bullet speed are being adjusted. You try to adjust the range, but it adjusts the bullet speed. Then you adjust the bullet speed, again, in the next entry. Needs fixing.

Also, why did Norton automatically create rules for a new Windows32 Generic Host Process after I installed this? What kind of B.S. are you up to?

Thanks for the error report, i didn't notice this before. It is fixed now.
Same download link and file name, but when you start it should say v3.
Fire range should now be correctly set.

As to Norton , no idea, maybe it is something general with Norton or .Net, try searching google about it.

Mod Tool CRASHES

[ERROR REPORT] The Mod Tool crashes after entering first parameter to change... the previous modifications with hardcoded constants works...

Gave weapon damage a value of 6 (4 times the default one of 1.5) and gave the actor a damage value of 0.25, one fourth of the default one, which I thought would mean it's balanced the way it was, though I'd be able to shot down enemies more. However, I was blown to shreads in a nanosecond with a sawed-off shotgun at range. Did I get something the other way around here?

Yeah, I'm finding that actor damage set at 0.1 is a bit too easy. I'm going to try 0.2, which should be twice as hard.

I also find that I can drop baddies pretty quickly with damage set to x2.

let me try and figure this out -
actor damage , when set to the default 0.1 means that the actor suffers 10% of the damage the NPCs do?
meaning - when an npc can withstand 1 shot i can withstand 10 of these shots?
is that what this factor is about?

meaning that if it's changed to 0.2 than the actor can be dropped in half the bullets cuz he sustains 20% of the actual damage of the bullet?
