Third Person Shooter Mod Possible?

hey, i made a thread about this earlier but i cant find it since the forums have been changed, i was asking if a third person mod was possible.
Someone told me it would be pretty hard, so im looking through the gamedata.db1 files and found this

under actor.ltx

material = creaturesactor
camera_height_factor = 0.85

can anyone tell me if this would the thing to mess with, like changing the values to make the camera further back?

i also have a picture of stalker thats from gamespot and its a picture of the character in third person shooting up at a helicopter, its most likey a old picture though so maybe they had this in the game at one point.

I didn't really read your full post, but my guess is it's possible..this is how GSC did most of the screenshots...as there is a 3rd person character model...so....hopefully someone can figure it out.
Someone should check the beta 2215 gamedate files to see how to get that camera.

Add -psp to the command-line of the game (in the shortcut for example).

It's buggy and some things are broken (like interacting with NPCs), but it's still fun.
