I was just wondering if it would be possible to make those red barrels into items that you could hold in your inventory. It would be great fun to be able to drop them at will and cause some mayhem!

No offense, but that would be an odd thing to do. Because when you think about it, it's like putting a giant barrel in your backpack.

I do think the player should be able to move objects like bodies though. Like in Oblivion, but hopefully better implemented.

Yes but the reason to do it is so that people like me who've done eveyrthing can have some fun, for example, fill the bar with red barrels and then make a trail going outside and shoot them. Not all mods are serious...

I see your point. But you're very right. I like a lot of mods that are not serious. Just I thought you meant that this one was supposed to be adding to the realism or something. My bad.

Hehe, no its just for fun. I've managed to roll a red barrel into some funny places and kill some people. Since barrels dont count as you killing someone, you can roll them about in freedom base and mess about

Maybe not barrels but what about those gas cans or small compressed gas tanks? They'd be fairly heavy, but they still make a nice boom when they go off. Just try not to get hitin the back when holding onto a couple.

MiniMod

Not exactly what you were wanting but here you go, use "shift plus f" to drag barrels. Just like dragging a corpse.

Add this to the bottom of the system.ltx file.

***Technical Difficulties, some of the items are draggable, others are not. I'll repost as soon as I have it sorted out***

Hey that very nice of you, cheers! One question though; where is this system file of which you speak?

The explosive objects don't seem to be able to be picked up like the normal objects. You can add this to the end of the system.ltx file to be able to pick up normal barrels and wooden boxes though.
