What's the crash log?
Btw, can you send me your save games that crashes?

I think saves got corrupted by some way xD

If you go back a few larges pages in this thread you will find out that

My guess is corrupted saves wich may be caused by saving too much

list of problems

1. The game is totally broken if you play as freedom. XRatx is, obviously heavily biased towards Duty, perhaps never tested playing Freedom. I enjoyed killing him, by the way. Slit his throat after wounding him... Duty scum .

2. If you are in Freedom, your comrades are at war with Mercs, and you are not. I've got some of them (Mercs) as friends, after I helped them deal with Duty.

3. Most mods (AMK, Oblivion) allows you to play as Freedom, this one not, because you are hostile to Ecologists, and you can't complete X16

3. I can't use AN-94 rifle, it allows only 2 round bursts

5. H&K MP7 uses 9mm Luger/Parabellum rounds. It is not possible, MP-7is specially designed around 4.6x33 round

6. M-14 EBR is very nicely designed, but it is renamed to M-21.. why ?

7. I played some older versions of this mod and there were some Clear Sky members around Cordon. There are none now... what happened to them ?

8. My binoculars are constantly trying to load 9mm clip, becoming temporarily useless after that. If I use vanilla xrGame.dll that problem disappears. What is alternate xrGame.dll for, is it just for rifle scopes with variable magnification.

9. Try IMI Galil, it is one of the best, if not the best rifle in the game, and yet it is much cheaper than the others. In real world, Galil is quite expensive rifle, one can buy almost 3 M-16s for one Galil. That's why IDF never adopted it completely. It tries to be accurate, good ergonomics, rugged, all in the same time. That comes with the price, of course.

another problem

I play as Freedom. In my game, bandits and Mercenaries overtook Bar. When I attack Duty base, all Bandits and Mercs turn hostile, as if they were Loners. Since when they protect Duty base ? Why would they care... in fact, they should join me. For example, I played Super Mod Pack, joined some bandits, and together we killed Voronin, Petrenko and everyone else.

Zone Wars

Stalker migration algorithm is great. You can find all kinds of stalkers in most unusual places. Other Zone Wars implementations often reach some final state after few hours and keep faction positions for the rest of the game. Here, it is not the case. There is always some change going on... very nice, indeed.

Well, first of all, the mod is still WIP so it's only normal that there are still some issues.
As most of your "problems" regard the guns in the mod i'm going to answer those.

4. The AN-94 has only the 2 round burst on purpose, as the other firemodes wouldn't work well with the rate of fire. The real gun fires the first two bullets at 1800 rpm, basically placing them in the same hole at the target while the following are fired at 600 rpm. In the vanilla game the rpm is 600 for all modes rendering the 2 round burst, which makes the gun so unique in the first place, practically useless.
If you don't like it that way, change it.

5. First, if you nag 'bout something do it right, the MP7 fires 4,6x30mm That ammo is not in the mod and I don't know if xRatx will add it. As I didn't liked the use of the 9mm rounds myself, in the actual files which will be released with the next patch, it uses 5,7x28mm like the P90.

6. Hm, good question, I'll change that.

9. Actually the prices of all added items are way off. The economic is due for an complete overhaul and rebalancing.

1 & 3. The game doesn't get broken and Freedom is hostile to Ecologist in vaniila game. In old builds, Freedom was originaly set to kill Kruglov in Rostok. GSC changed that later to Mercs to do that job. By the way, I have better weapon than regular Duty just becouse I like H&K and NATO kind weapons

2. I got to check that.

6. Good question. Maybe I was writting up description and linking the name with the weapon file name (wich may be the most probable cause)

7. A small mistake I made on their respawn so they respawn a bit in lower numbers. It is fixed in next patch.

8. The modded xrGame.dll is only used in variable scope magnification. You can still use binoculars but instead of use fire bottom, use the aiming one.

9. As Vikingstalker said well, Economics are a issue to be completly overhauled and rebalanced.

Your bar problem Maybe, that's becouse Bar still like vaniila and the only thing I removed from Bar was the Killing Warning.

I am aware of dual fire rate of AN-94. Actually, I used 2 round burst in other mods, where it coexists with other fire modes. It is not quite useless. If you aim lower, it is very likely that at least one round will hit
Also, I am not sure that Stalker game engine can do 1800 rpm. I am under impression that it falls back to some maximum value of its own.

I'll do that.

I've never fired AN-94, but I believe that dual fire rate, plus barrel that slides back to compensate recoil, make it hopelessly complex and complicated for real life use.

Perhaps it could be replaced with Steyr TMP. The gun was included in OL. Too bad that nobody made MP-5K and/or MP-5PDW

There was an old mod called "Full Bar Freedom", it allowed shooting hostile NPCs at Bar. Still you can't shoot friendlies and neutrals, but nobody would blink an eye if you kill hostile. Could it be installed over CSFM mod without breaking anything ?

Does game_relations.ltx determine faction relations, or is there something else that replaces it ? I can live with egghead hostility, by temporarily leaving Freedom and joining again, after X16. It might be interesting, in fact. But, the Merc issue is quite a nuisance...... can I fix it somehow ?

There is an interesting observation. PDA statistic page shows Merc relation -5000 by default. If I kill some the hostility decrease to -4800, for example. The more I kill, hostility index drops.... as if they like being killed . A deathwish ?

By the way, there is some magic in your mod. It, somehow, retains the spirit of vanilla stalker, while adding new features. Scorched zone look and scary sounds (wolf howling, some strange bird sounds) are all preserved. There are other things, numerous little details that I can't put the finger on it. Playing this mod makes me feel like no other does. There is some magic atmosphere, an unique mix of old and new, which exists in no other mod. I hope you will keep it that way in next releases.

I'd like to discuss something else, which is not unique to this mod. It is the weight player can carry. There is wide difference between the burden which one can carry around and fight and the weight that prevents one to walk. I know that SAS members can climb the cliff with 60 kilos, and that is probably the limit. But, during combat, one can carry wounded comrade, a weapon and some ammo. Probably has to drop other things, and can't run or jump. I am trying to say that gap between max. weight and weight that prevents one from moving should be wider. So, I've changed your settings to 55 and 80.

Full Bar Freedom - I don't know if it will break the mod becouse I never saw that old mod files. Can you post here a link of it (A valid link of it)?

Freedom & Merc Relation Issue - Seems that Mercs are neutral to actor_freedom and enemy to the Freedom Faction it self.

To fix it open game_relation.ltx

In this line:
killer = -5000, -5000, 0, -5000, -5000, -5000, 5000, -5000, -5000, -5000, 0, -5000, -5000, 0, -5000, -5000

Change the first zero (the one after the second '-5000') to -5000 and it should be like this:

killer = -5000, -5000, -5000, -5000, -5000, -5000, 5000, -5000, -5000, -5000, 0, -5000, -5000, 0, -5000, -5000

And by fixing this small detail, Mercs will be enemy to you too!

And yes, game_relation.ltx sets the faction relations.

Relation Improvement in Mercs - A deathwish or maybe you helped them killing their enemies. Strange things happens in this mod

The weight still be like vaniila and for me 50 Kg's of carry weight seems enough.

Just a little note, Stalker engine can do 1800 RPM and above. Minigun M-134 RPM setting is 4000 RPM
