Well, I'll post here GSC modellers answers to our questions about weapon model creation. In russian. Use google translation

Q: Максимальное число полигонов
A: В движке игры нет строгого ограничения на количество треугольников, но для получения стабильного и высокого FPS применяются модели порядка:

От первого лица:

2000-3000 треугольников для рук.
~6000 для оружия.

При необходимости можно использовать и большее количество если это обосновано необходимо.

Q: Есть ли какие-то ограничения на анимацию? Способ, количество кадров и т.д.
A: Плагин экспорта поддерживает все доступные средства 3D-пакета, необходимые аниматору для создания качественной анимации: локаторы, инверсная кинематика, ограничители, применение физики во время анимирования, всё это и многое другое допустимо для создания анимаций и прекрасно понимается движком игры.

Нет ограничений на способ хранения анимации модели, это может быть и внешний файл, и хранение всех анимаций в одной модели, всё зависит от предпочтений аниматора.

Q: Названия костей
A: Для рук название joint’ов может быть любое, количество тоже. Расположение в центре системы координат.

Для оружия должны быть joint’ы:

wpn_body – рутовый joint для оружия, обязательное наличие
wpn_scope - joint прицела, необязательно наличие
wpn_launcher – joint подствольника, необязательно наличие
wpn_silencer – joint глушителя, необязательно наличие

(wpn_scope, wpn_launcher, wpn_silencer) зависимы от wpn_body

В: Расположение модели
О: Модель находится в центре системы координат, модель персонажа создаётся в метрической системе измерений

Oh...i cant stand this, i need the AMK mod now
I have started a new game 15-20 times now, vanilla at first and then with different mods...i have played from start to the end 5-6 times with or with out mods. Now a rely need something new so i get this new game play feeling with Stalker again.

Any chance the mod could be released in smaller pieces, like just the armor HUD, or the new moon? Or would that have to be translated as well?

how comes the developement? we wan't english translation!
and please! use the npcs and armor variation, i'm bored of watch the same trousers, jackets, faces, etc for everybody and for get a identical weapon always!

So does this mod tweek the game to be realistic like Redux does? as well as tweek the weapons so some are not pointless? like the Sig was in vanila.
