I hope not either, theres only so far you can go with games & realism.

Im sure everyone finds it fun to trip over in real life as well

It would be annoying to trip, but if they were to put that in then they would prob make it so that the AI can trip too.

Your running away from a bunch of other stalkers and you're running into the forest. U trip and get back up and keep running. they almost caught up then they all trip at different parts thus spreading them out which will allow to take them out one by one if u want. It could add some advantages for us tot he game.

this would make combat much harder... i mean you wouldnt just need to pay attention to the enemy, but to the surroundings aswell.

I dunno about tripping, but having to have to crawl after being shot in the leg would be a cool feature. Like in Operation Flashpoint. But since prone is disabeled... Sniff.

Tripping when running

this idea popped in my head while i was reading a topic about reloading... so, when you run backwards in a firefight concentrating on nothing else than reloading your weapon and onto the fight itself, you cant see a metal bar behind you and trip, dropping all the ammo you were just reloading and slowing you down of course. the ammunition can be reacquired after the fight. this could only happen in situations that require your full attention, not when running down the street

HAHAHA, greatest idea ever!
reminds me of simpsons episode [Homer struggling to play video game] "geee, dad, I didn't know you can trip and die in this game...."
