That was one of the first things i have tried because there are parts where you have to pay 2x60000 to pass the quest peacefully, but with that option enabled no need to pay (i think)
But problem is that it doesn't work on difficulty above normal (master - Mortal)..maybe it will work if difficulty is changed to normal from game options....i'll have to check that

When i first started the mod on master, that setting didn't matter. Then i switched to veteran and below, it then enabled. Just a script that needs dug out and tweaked.

Or a possible workaround in the actor.ltx maybe....

I have looked through almost all scripts now and didn't found it.
Anyhow, merc armor is now nothing special when you get it at start because all armors have much less protections...it has good mobility tho,..
Power loss for merc armor is 55% and military armor has 95-99 %
Bullet/explo imm for merc are 15%
It has NV, but you have to pay 22500 for it at Sid's bunker....so it isn't much help at start
Plus Cordon military barrier attacks the village with every soldier so you practically earned that armor after that fight

Something is very wrong with this mod and scripts so my version is again broken
After another test with New game:

- All traders are bugged and start acting like normal stalkers and join the nearby fights, plus they corrupt saved games if saved near them.

- Giant is weak as in default game even if i made it to take about 40-60 shotgun bullets he now dies from only 3 bullets...wth !!

I'll fix this tonight but i think there will be more broken stuff ....now i am suspecting that there is some kind of cheat protection built in this mod and it doesn't read files that are not in their default state....

I am sorry if this caused trouble for somebody, but i had no problems doing stuff like this to other mods...they worked perfectly.....Troops of doom, Photograph, Secret path...etc....

Some of the problem is the loot system i think, traders will run for dead bodies and loot... like in the marsh base, always seems to be a bandit that spawns and gets killed. First one there to loot is the hunter trader. Plus im getting alot of console errors like this:

Looking this up brings me to Natvacs (genius) site explaining it:

"This warning is caused by the moving of a loose item like a gun which either has no parent (owner) or has a different parent, into the inventory of the actor or that of another NPC or NPC body. Technically, one should not transfer a weapon that isn't theirs. This is the result of a hack to permit NPC stalkers to search bodies, a hack to clean up a battlefield of weapons, or a hack to prevent a dying NPC from dropping a gun -- but he already has, so he is no longer the parent.

It may be possible to "fix" the warning by assigning a parent to the weapon first. It is a warning, not a real "error".

Its not a fatal error but it does cause lag in my game.

Im not sure of the cheat protection...might be possible and if there it is hooked into the game engine watching what files are altered. JP 1 And 2 are like this as you already know. Workaround is by changing the name of the file your altering and then change it in system.ltx to bypass the engine check. A example would be altering a outfit in "outfit.ltx" then rename "outfit.ltx" to something like "armor.ltx". You would then rename it in the system.ltx like this:

#include "misc\outfit.ltx"....change to
#include "misc\armor.ltx"

My opinion is there is no cheat protection but a script thats being evil toward ya. The mod you are creating is very involved and should be slowly tested. You might already use this but just in case...use JSGME from here: https://www.moddb.com/mods/call-of-chernobyl/downloads/jsgme Works for all the Stalker games. This is what i use to mod and it makes things very easy for ya. Any files you alter can be kept separate which really helps narrowing down that pain in the ass error. Also keep in mind your dealing with errors already existing in the mod itself, changing something in the difficulty leads to other unknowns.....on top of that is its translated too. Ha, didn't thought of that....have to try that as it sounds logical.

Tonight i will fix traders by changing them to default "sell" and alter only what they by from us and by what price....they work fine if only that is changed.(but as you said they are already a little bugged"
They did a lot of work with weapons but left many things undone....
I changed their selling equipment just because of Power armors, but they are already expensive so there will be no problems.

Tonight fixing:
- traders (this is a main problem as it corrupts saves)
- stamina drain from suits
- giant (and some other creatures) I think i know what is the problem...his stomp attack is stronger and he damages himself...so i will just up his Impact resistance or make it immune to impact.
- halving some artifact stamina boosts because strong artifacts can be found already in Cordon by looting bodies (Luck) 1% for strongest

I play all mods in Russian without problems ....2 years back i hated Russian mods because there were so many awesome ones and i didn't learn Russian and always had bad grades in it.
So, i tried few mods and slowly learned Russian...getting better every day plus i can easily translate if it is not some hard technical stuff.....
Also, Russian is somewhat similar to Serbian

I wanted to do mine translation of items, suits, etc...because there are many changes that are not visible, like, what suit is more comfortable and drains less stamina, which artifact brings or depletes speed...etc...
But work doesn't allow me much to do this...

This is all promising and i hope nothing but the best for ya. The loot system is still my nemesis and i hope it gets corrected. I dont have the time anymore to mod like i used to and I believe someone out there could help us more...or at least correct me.

Don't know about original, but i halted my tweeks for a several days...had no time
Only this has to be repaired and it is ready to play:

- traders (i'll return all default traders, except for Sid's buy prices)
- stamina drain from suits (all will be at minimum 0.95 because some funny stuff happens with weakest suits)
- giant (just to set impact immunity to 0.0 and to up HPs for about 300)

Ill try to do it in next 2 days, sorry.
