Actor Editor Crash : !Can't find bone: * * SOLVED

I'm trying to port a new model from a CoP mod in the LA Actor Editor, I have no trouble associating a .skls file to the model and I've got the .bones to append to the model too, which all goes well, until I try to render it in the engine, where I get the error:

..Export Skeleton motions defs
!Can't find bone: * *
!Can't load 'c:\user\x\meshes\actors\stalker_neutral\stalker_neutral_0.ogf' invalid bones count

Then the Actor Editor crashes to an assertion fail from skeletonmotions.h

Any help is appreciated! I understand something about a specific number of bones but I don't know exactly, the Actor Editor only crashes when I click the Engine Render button.

Update:

The issue was the number of bones in the CoP model (CoP models have 47 and SoC models have 45), so by deleting the extra 2 bones (bip01 and root_stalker), I was able to export as an .object, import into the Actor Editor, and export as a .ogf with no problems. The new model works perfectly in SoC.

If anyone is interested I will link the tutorial that helped me through the conversion.
