Hi Dez.
Firstly thanks for your prompt reply, I tried the above and could find no facility to D/L, Went back to ModDB and downloaded the files again, this time Winrar did not throw up an error, unpacked to it's own folder, then installed the files to the main LA folder, LA patched up to 1.3003, no addons, clicked the icon and got this error "Open AL cant create sound device" cant get into the game to alter audio settings. which I am led to believe should be generic audio driver open AL. I am determined to get this game running as it would be justice for all the hard work you have put in.
Any thought. please.

Great new version, but my memory is bad.
I downloaded and installed the big patch DC and it's running pretty smoothly. Occasionally has a CTD when a lot is going on. However, it's been a couple of years since I played original Lost Alpha. I got the case to take to Petrenko after sneaking into the Military South Base in Cordon. He then asked me to go to the mines and look for more documents. I only found one in the mines because the gates were all shut and irradiated, so I looked in the buildings and found several more. In the building with the elevator, the door up the stairs is locked. I couldn't find the key. So I went back to Petrenko and he said I didn't get all the documents, so I am heading back to the Forest. Where is the key? Is the last document behind the locked door? Thanks, I am enjoying the game and have a vehcile at last! |

I think the door opens, when have killed all the bandits there. after that you should find the Bandit Leader and ALL the needed stuff in this room.
And one advice: After you collect the stuff - don't run to fast on the outside and keep your gun loaded…  |
