Thanks Tejas. Took me a while to get the right angle and the chopper where I wanted it to be, it kept maneuvering out of the iron sights... almost like it didn't want to be shot down. I also wanted to get a shot in its burning wreckage

but unfortunately it disappeared too quickly.

New playthrough; 'J00B the bandit' - Master setting. The aim is to be a bandit. Walk like a bandit. Cheeki Breeki like a bandit. Appropriate weaponry and attire like a bandit... etctra. Will try break the game wherever possible.

I will have to masquerade as a Stalker for a while till I can get a bandit suit and join my brethren. Started off by doing the simple starter quests, next step is to rescue fox... in the meantime I hit the Military checkpoint:

"Gee guys... I know I'm new and everything... but... should he be staring so intently at the MG?"

Some interesting loots here. Scored a Red Beads AND a Liver artifact. Quite mid range/high level artifacts for Cordon I would've thought.

Exploiting 1.4007 DC as best as I can. I will NEVER, EVER use a "cheat pack" - a game lives or dies on its gameboard. Best of luck, stalker...
