-waves- Hi, I'm still reading.
---END QUOTATION---

Hai. ^_^

It's good to hear from you again. Hopefully I didn't let too many people down when I mysteriously vanished the last time... and the times before that. Sorry for that, but I do take writing seriously and my hope is that this will be one of the best things I ever write so I'm definitely taking my time here.

The original story got so many good reviews I know it's going to be no easy feat surpassing that, but I've recently had a few burst of inspiration that I think may just get it there... we shall see. But the thing that always kept me going strong with "Life and Death" was the ongoing support and praise of fellow Stalkers like yourself. I'd hate to think I've come this far just to be writing this all for myself. :\

So with that in mind, welcome back, and I hope you enjoy the new stuff to come.

EDIT: Since I apparently have a potty mouth and got my post censored, here is the link to the beginning of the story: http://www.writerscafe.org/writing/Psynexus/484676/. You can use the links on the right side of that page to navigate or just click next/previous chapter at the bottom.

Well, after writing the first story, you kind of jumped headfirst into this one. Creative processes only last so long, so I figured you'd eventually get writer's block and move on to other projects for a while. I was 100% correct.

I respect the fact that you needed a break... it's not like you're getting paid to keep us entertained with your writing. As far as I'm concerned, the wait wasn't too long and I'm happy to have you back.

I'm sure the rest of your followers will agree wholeheartedly with me.

Whew! Next part is (finally) up!

Hello Stalkers. After much research, eyestrain, and pages upon pages of edits, the next chapter is finally up!

http://www.writerscafe.org/writing/Psynexus/456841/

IMPORTANT: Some major changes have been made to things I have already posted. I apologize for this, but it was necessary after all the research I've been doing lately, and it adds a lot more to the stories now and later. So please take note of the following changes:

General Krylov has been replaced with Colonel Petrenko - According to lore, General Krylov was killed in the Faction Wars - who am I to argue with history?

Colonel Petrenko has been replaced with Barin - Formerly Colonel Petrenko was General Krylov's right-hand man, now Barin is the self-appointed bodyguard of Colonel Petrenko. This changes the story little except for what happened to General Krylov happens to Colonel Petrenko instead.

Cap has been replaced with Max - Max, being the second in command in Lukash's absence was the more appropriate role, especially since Freedom needed a hardcore point-man. The point-man has since become Cap.

Other character changes/additions/edits have been made in this chapter as those who read it previously will see in a BIG way. I literally re-wrote the entire chapter. Also, some elements in this chapter have been saved for later as you may have noticed also happened in the last chapter.

That's all the major changes I can think of for now, I hope you enjoy the new and improved Burn-up on Re-entry!

And I'm looking forward to you reading it.

To all: While I'm thinking about it, I know I've had the offer for some web hosting for the site I had in place before. I've been thinking about bringing back the old site, and so am looking for a free host for a small site. I know I can find some online easily enough, and will do that if need be, but I figured I'd throw the offer out in case someone would like the honors. What say you?

Win, as usual.

How do you manage to make everything you write so believable? You come up with some crazy shit that if someone were to tell me the story in person (even by Zone standards) I would never believe it. But you write it out and it all makes perfect sense.

You are a verbal magician, my friend.

Hoes and tricks, my friend. Seriously, I don't know. Life as I've lived it has taught me to be an expert at making stuff up on the spot and making it believable. But being able to refine my writing over the past 3 years now on this story and other projects has seriously helped too. I see the stagnation in mainstream society and I guess I feel like it's my turn to step up and bring originality back to the world. Man, I sure put myself up on a pedestal, lol.

Anyway, I'm glad to see all my hard work paid off. Stalker continues to fascinate me and I will continue to do whatever it takes to communicate its atmosphere as it speaks to me. Believe me when I say that there is a lot more to come, and you've barely even had a taste of what I've been plotting for the last few days...

I do that with music. Can't stand the mainstream music these days, so I write shit that's totally different. I think everyone's pretty much dog tired of the "generic" these days.

Alone in the Zone

http://www.writerscafe.org/writing/Psynexus/602514/

Sorry for the delay, I've been sick for the last few days and editing the story as I read continues to be a huge pain in the ass, but I'm getting there.

Once again, the entire chapter has essentially been overhauled and readers of the original will probably not recognize a good portion of it.

Thankfully, I'm nearing the end of edits and can begin writing new material soon, but I'm going to need more patience than I currently have to get there. So if you like the story so far, let me know you're out there and reading. I'm running on fumes here people, I need motivation to continue!

Yay! You didn't edit me out. Even if I did turn into a crazed lunatic preacher, I'm glad to be in your story.

And you know I'm still reading. I don't even play Stalker anymore, I just get on here to check for updates on this story and Snorkbait's story.
