Artificial weapon range?

Aww man. WTH is with the apparent pistol range cutoff? I find it hard to believe that it would be terribly unbalancing to have the pistols have a realistic range.

IN MP beta, they did and had a severe parabolic arc.

Note: forgot the range indicator option for the x-hair....curious the cutoff range for pistols.
