yeh the kung fu movies that were dubbed don't look the best at all
Jackie Chan could be simple saying "which way to the men's room" and then half an hour later his lips are still MOVING **slight exaggeration**
anyway . . .

nothing. . Its the cultural difference you see. Like here in NZ, heaps of people still thinks that every Chinese knows Kung Fu, and that Jackie Chan is a great Kung Fu master. Similarly, Americans thinks Chow Yun Fatt is great (and he is!), but he is just an actor. His, and most other actors', Kung Fu came from the action director (i.e those who coordinates actor movement to make them look like Kung Fu moves.) That's almost a fact well-known in Asia. There is only a few actors who truely knows Kung Fu- Bruce Lee for one, another is Hong Ching Bo (the fat guy).

---QUOTATION--- Russian dialogue with english subtitles is always better (and much cooler ) than a English Dubbing unless the team has good English voice actors.
Hong Kong action flicks (i grew up with Hard boiled, A better tomorrow, chow yun fat movies) sound better with Cantonese (stalker will have an asian market right?) with english subtitles than a stupid english dub.
Man, I really an anticipicating this game more than Half Life 2, or the next Unreal powered game, I am gonna save up money over summer to get an upgrade so i can see the DirectX 9 effects. ---END QUOTATION---

---QUOTATION--- Russian -> English translations work much better than English -> Russian (although, you can kindof see problems with the Russian->English ones already). It probably helps if you know little bit of Russian to assist in the grammar.
Because Russian has a case system (nominative, accusative, dative, etc.) the sentance structure is quite lenient. English basically lacks cases, aside from nominative and genitive (The cat walks [cat = nominative], I walk the cat [I is nominative, cat is accusative/direct object], I walked the dog to the cat [cat is now dative/indirect object], I walk to the cat's litterbox [cat is now genitive/possesor]).
The only remnants of the case system in english are with pronouns, as in:
I - me - to me - my
he - him - to him - his
(dative doesn't really exist in english, it's just the accusative with a preposistion (to me)
I like the cool German, seeing as English is Germanic, it's easy to relate...
the man - der Mann
the man - den Mann
to the man - dem Mann
the man's - des Mannes
(actually 'of the man' - as a legitimate german sentance would be Die Frau des Mannes ist sch
