Explanation and tutorial needed regarding the editing of creature files in config

I'm trying to figure out how to mess with the A,I.'s line of sight and sense of hearing in the creatures files in the config folder. Thing is, I kind of have no idea what I'm doing, or what numbers to set each statistic/value to. (As seen with my recent topics, I'm fairly new to modding)

Additionally, I'm pretty bad at math, so when it comes to decimal numbers, I cannot tell what's higher and what's lower.

Can I (and perhaps for others to answer future questions) please get a full explanation and breakdown of what the following lines do and what sort of numbers they should be set to? (In relation to high and low and making it easier or harder)

For A.I. Visibility:

If I'm missing anything else regarding regarding creature mechanics (Or stealth mechanics), then please list and explain them.

I know there are probably some mods I can use, but for now I want to learn how to edit these for myself and for future reference. Playing a mostly vanilla game. (No external mods, just edited a few files myself using guides on here.) Had a hard time finding solid information on the creature files and editing them.

Also forgot to mention that I would like to know how luminocity works as well since it seems to be related to this.

I'm sure someone around here must know. I kind of wish there was a thread or guide/F.A.Q. that covers all of this already in full detail, which would cut down on the questions.

So far it's all choice stuff.
