Heh, if you are interested on having your story posted in the contest... no, not me, I am not the one who are making the shots, "atem" is. He is my boss officially, which means my actions are controlled by him when it comes to general contest matters.

You can contact him at atem@gsc-game.kiev.ua . Try your best to persuade him, although for the sake of fairness he will probably deny you, but again, no harm down trying.. If he gives me the go-ahead, you story will be edited by me and send it.
---END QUOTATION---

Maybe with another story. This one is to much from the top of my head.
Im currently writing on another one,and this time im taking a bit more time to do stuff more 'complex' and yet simple
Maybe i ll do a rewrite of this story, and try to do get that accepted...hey...that gives me an idea, why dont you guys (if you have the time and if you want to do so) try to make a rewrite of the story and the ideas contained in it and see how it ends up(placing it in this thread of course as to keep it easy to check). I find that it could be quite interesting to see other ppl's take on my 'ideas'/'story'.

Definitely not me. From my point of view, I can't really see your focus (i.e where you story is going from and going to), so I can't really narrate the plot and idea. If I am to rewrite this story, there will certainly be a big plot change, which I don't really think will help you a lot... sorry mate.

Same goes for me. I don't wanna attack you or anything, but if you hand in a half finished paper to your teacher and say 'Well I'm too lazy to make it anything more then just a sketch from the top of my head, but it has some good ideas so tell me what you think.' and then he flunks you big time, would you really be surprised?

I haven't read it, but the nerve to ask others to re-write your stories cause you're too lazy really amazed me. I tried hard and worked days on my story and here you are saying something like that, no way!

You either do it or at least try it on your own, or you don't do it at all. Cooperation or asking someone to help you out with a passage or storlyline, okay! But letting others do it for you is definitely not green in my book. Ideas are easy, the waste bins of publishers are crammed with 'good ideas' from people who were too lazy to work them out properly. I can barf up ten good ideas a minute, but it takes effort, sweat, cursing, retries and long long hours to make it a good story. If you're not prepared to put those things in, then don't knock on my door.

Maybe you're thinking: 'Sheesh, lighten up, dork. If you don't wanna write my story, then just leave me be.' Well, I understand, but I'm telling you all this so it won't come as a surprise that no-one will help you out without telling you why. But if you do decide to make it work on your own, then I'd be more then happy to help you out in any way I can, I promise.

Yeah, sure, I agree, but last time I wrote you a page of 38-page full of junk effort, you only read to page 10! oh well

Seriously, which story of mine did you read that makes you say I have improvement? If it is "Home to stay", can you put some reviews in my comment log? My comment log turned into a joke for the past last month.

ouch...well deserved flames are roasting my butt...

Your points are quite right,i am lazy at times, and i more often than not end up with junk stories. in retrospect i should have known better than to ask other ppl to rewrite my own 'story', and me recieving a kick in the nuts for doing so is quite well deserved.

Btw i did do that stunt with a teacher once (though i didnt say i was to lazy to finish it) and i got my well deserved trash grade in return.

It is good that you take it well. Most of us, if not all, take writing quite seriously. And most of us here, if not all, is going to win the contest. That is why we set ourselves a somewhat high standard. Goodspeed is a somewhat hardsh taskmaster, but you definitely want to see his work - top notch quality. Look in the contest for an entry call "The Best Laid Plan". As he said, most of us sweat a lot over our work, and although not every one of them are guranteed top winners, they are somewhat in the top 20 category of the contest
