Stranger Faction? (Spoilers)

how do I interact with these Stranger Ghosts Faction at generators, when I get to close to them they turn into those floating enemys the Fire and Spark ones as well as Zombies

Running lost alpha in DX10, everything at max detail except grass shadows off and sunrays at medium
