Me and Lost Alpha

I've been track Lost Alpha since 2008 and filling myself with so much expectations for a complete new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. experience. I only played it a little bit before the 1.3002 patch but I didn't kept playing because an annoying sky glitch (it was overly bright and it went back to normal brigthness if the actor was under a shadow) that I couldn't fix and several other bugs/glitches. So I want to ask if I should play Lost Alpha? or wait more time until it gets most/all of its issues solved?
Thank you.

From S.L.A.M. Pack thread on this forum :

---QUOTATION---

*Tweakguide (works with Lost Alpha)
http://www.tweakguides.com/STALKER_1.html

(user.ltx):
r2_tonemap_middlegray 0.50 - Fix overly bright sky
r2_gloss_factor - messing with this one should fix overly dark/bright objects, havent found perfect setting yet
r2_sun_lumscale 0.5 - adjust sun/bloom
r2_sun_lumscale_amb 0.5 - adjust sun/bloom
r2_sun_lumscale_hemi 1 - adjust sun/bloom
r2_ls_bloom_threshold 1 - adjust sun/bloom
r1_ssa_lod_a 32. - better fps
r1_ssa_lod_b 24. - better fps
r2_ssa_lod_a 32. - better fps
r2_ssa_lod_b 24. - better fps
r__dtex_range 10. --this changes the range at which to clip detail textures (fine textures used for close ups)
r__geometry_lod 0.5 --this reduces geometric detail in the distance (unnoticeable, unlike in skyrim) (lower number, higher performance AFAIK)
*fov 62.75 - original fov, slightly better for me

Set Sun to Medium, Turn down grass to 75% and turn off grass shadows - this is hardly noticeable but provides nice boost to fps

---END QUOTATION---

It should help

yeah check the forums out for lost alpha, and TheOneDon has some nice mods for it which makes it look nice during the day and their are some tweaks that will help out as well.

and 1 of the main tweaks is done via the user.ltx file and i changed these 3 to what this shows
r2_sun_lumscale 1.2
r2_sun_lumscale_amb 1.
r2_sun_lumscale_hemi 0.75

it help the day time a ton then TheOneDon S3r1ous mods did the rest

Tell me how you did that now !! (please)

About your changes, did they intensify godrays ? In DX9, I find them less bright, less powerful. I want God to be powerful !

Hi - if your problem is permanently overcast/grey days - the fix from Dezoder is:

---QUOTATION---
try to switch render mode (switch to static lightning, save game, quit, load, then set it back to full dyn or dx10) and it should change
---END QUOTATION---

This fixed the problem for me
