Thanks, that did the trick, the game starts and all but when i tried to load a save or start a new game this error occurs

Suppose it has to do with textures just wanted to double check so i dont mess it up again

Heh, no problem i'm glad to help. That doesn't look like a weapons based error, but none the less check these lines in your weapon's file:

flame_particles =
smoke_particles =

shell_particles =
silencer_smoke_particles =

If any of the entries past the = sign start with anything other than what's in the brackets (generic_) , post it here.

The G3 that was posted in this thread used arsenal shell particles and came with its own particles.xr file. If I remember correctly, then Calle_SWEDEN is using Stalker Complete mod, that has a custom particles file too and apparently he overwrote original file with new one, that does'nt have all particles needed in SC. So, these two files should be merged for everything to work properly.
If he cannot find the merged file, or make one himself, then he should get a new copy of original SC particles.xr, replace the current one with it and then open the G3-s config file, find a line that says "shell_particles = weapons\arsenal_shells1" and outcomment it with ";". This way the gun does'nt eject any shells when fired, but at least it'll work.

Heh, didn't even think of that. Also he can change out arsenal_shells1 for generic_shells and it will work with the stock particle file.

Thanks for the help, fixed the particel.xr file and changed the shell thing to the generic one, it works now havent checked out the weapons but thanks for all the help

and i have in some strange way managed to make wolf give me a G3 at the start of the game, or was this supposed to happen?

There was a modified version of escape_dialogs in the file that changed the items you get when you accept the mission to free nimble, it added in the weapon to the list of items given.

Truth is when i install the weapons, since i'm using another mod as a base i never install the particle file(just change the shells to generic_shells, nor any script.

Things will get messy if you install multiple weapons and don't leave out that script or the particle file.
