I wish I could use these but I keep getting errors. I have installed weapons before and I know how to install them. The problem is that the bug thing will not respond when I try to preview the problem so atm I cannot use the fn fal or the m16 and I haven't used any of the others yet but may aswell not bother.

Well it took years for it to finally happen, but it was soo worth it.

Psevdo stalker released an Fn Fal for SOC. Take a look.

Add weapon model and textures and ltx, include ltx in weapons.ltx.

Add text descriptions and icon to ui_equipment

Add weapon to mp_ranks

Sadly i can't give any permission, as i'm not the original author of these mods, i know the readme is in russian but i believe you'll need to speak to king friday about that ( he created the gun according to what i could piece together from the readme) .

Post the error you get in your logs, i'll try to help (i've put far to many guns in this game for my time not to be able to at least try

I cannot get an error in the logs because the bug thing becomes not responding when I try to look at it....

And guys, I would choose a G3 or an Fn Fal. Idc cause atleast they are both 7.62x54: .308 instead of an m16 which uses the 5.56x45: .223. Do you wanna know why, because the 7.62x54 round goes through trees in 1 hit and the .223 cannot go through a tree when even fired out of a saw at a high rate of speed. And the Fn Fal was used in Vietnam and it scared off some of the Vietnamies soldiers when they found out that they couldn't hid behind the trees.

The only things wrong it that these days they now use 5.56x45 nato rifles which only have an advantage in range and speed. I reckon they they should go to .243 rifles because the .243 round is very powerful and uses the .308's charge and doesnt kick as much. So it should be used, I know all of this cause I own: .22 rifle, .243 rifle, .308 rifle, 12 gauge single barrel shotgun and I have fired these: .223 rifle, .350 rifle "This one kick so damn hard" and an old lee enfield chamered to an Ak round which if I remember right its a 7.62x39.

(The ones which I said I own I have fired and the ones which says I have fired are my dads friends rifles. Well, all that I own are the .243 rifle and the single barrel shotgun and the rest of them are my dads.. xD)

So yeah, and I mean by rifle as a bolt action since in Aus they don't allow people to buy Ar's

wow deranged, that was very OT, but know that you have confessed to being an Aussie, it all kinda makes sense.

The .308 round or the NATO standard 7.62 is 7.62 x 51. The 7.62 x 54 round that you refered to above, it the Warsaw Pact round, such as used in the Dragonov. 2 differant 7.62 rounds.

The reason that 5.56x45 is the current NATO standard for AR, is becuase the round is smaller and lighter, you can pack more into a mag and carry more mags... makes sense.

And you are right tho, the 7.62 round is a lot more powerful, which is why many NATO Armies are re-adopting weapons in this calibre, such as the SR25, M14 or SCAR-H at 1 per Section Level (or Squad Level for the Americans out there) /end rant

But, anyway, back on topic. Are all these new weapons using the clear sky arms? also, does anyone know of a proper MP5SD mod? with normal SHOC arms and not a massive double drum mag? that would be awesome.
