Tourist Mode

I'm currently on my fourth play through to get all the alternate endings, and one thing has struck me each time - there's so much to see in this game.

Every time I play through I notice something I missed the last time and it raised an idea for me - why not have a "Tourist" mode?

This would basically be the single player game world with no AI, NPCs, monsters, radiation or anomalies; simply the game world you could wander about in and stop to smell the flowers as it were.

I would imagine this would be possible as a mod, but I would like to propose the idea for inclusion in a future update.

btw I work for a games company so I appreciate timescales and project constraints so i don't actually expect to see this, but I wouldn't feel right if I didn't at least mention it

Good job on the game, well worth the wait.

I would love that!

to be able to walk around in the zone look at the view,
nice name you gave it also lol.

which remind me,
I did a mission for the barkeep finding the flesh eye
I gave it to him and I received an item called
"tourist guide" or "tourist something" don't remember exactly.

anyways, I looked in my inventory and nothing was there?
somebody did this mission and received it?
what is it and how come I didn't see it in my inventory?

If it's it: "Tourist delight" is the fun name they gave to the canned food.

That's actually a really, really cool idea. Maybe just the odd token mutant that would show an interest in you without attacking.

I would rather have a flyby mode where you can follow people around and watch as things happen in game.

I've always wanted an option like this in Half-Life 2 and Guild Wars. It would really be nice in STALKER.

This would be a nice addition.
