Put the TOS-34 back in.

I honestly don't see why it was removed in the first place, having used the trader mod to get it, it seems nice and powerful yet cumbersome to load so it's hardly a weapon of mass chaos. Nothing about it screams unfinished and ultimatly it just seems like a nice gun to have in there.

When you get the mission to find the family rifle it even is shown on the icon when you get the mission update on the bottom left of the screen but the picture in the PDA has been changed to a picture of some bloke obviously to cover up the fact it used to show the rifle.

Why on Earth was this removed? I see no harm in putting it back in it's place instead of having that cruddy sawn-off as the item you have to find.

I'd love to have it back in the game as well as the sawn off, the more weapons and the more variety, the better.

I'm all in favour of putting it back in but it looks to be way too powerful in its current guise, those who experimented with it said that not only did it pack a ridiculous punch but they could also snipe with the bloody thing!

Seems that GSC took it out at the last moment due to balancing issues, so those would have to be resolved first ideally, it was supposed to be one of the weapons of a beginning stalker after all and not an uber firearm.

Personally, I'd rather it was permanantly replaced into the game.

I did at first but I'd still like to see it an actual part of the game like it was supposed to be rather than having to mod back in.

Well, if that's the case it was a pretty lame excuse to remove it completely in my opinion, If balancing was an issue all they'd need to do is reduce accuracy a tad. But it's a sporting shotgun anyway, it's supposed to be accurate.

One can't really classify it as a super over powered gun that'll be the only thing you'll ever need through out the game anyway... Like I said it's a cumbersome bugger to load, like the sawn-off, and sniping with dart or slug ammo was doable even with the other three shotguns. And the fact that if it was in the game it'd only occur once through-out.

The Martha's in the game too of course, that's pretty good, they didn't cut that out. In any case I don't think balancing is an issue with the single player anymore, so many of the guns are inaccurate as they are so what harm would a slightly more accurate shotgun be. That's just my opinion of course.

I even feel they should put it in multiplayer along with the Martha, making it available at higher ranks. That's another topic though.
