Word to the wise, Cyjoki: most who go in for that kind of work don't draw a big circle around what they were doing, most marines who didn't do that kind of work, are very proud of the units the served in.
---END QUOTATION---

I have no idea what your trying to illustrate.

The Makarov reload is a bit fast though, if I understand how it's mag relase is. To drop that mag one handed you have to shift your grip on the gun, move your pinky undernieth the grip to behind the magazine and pull the release back, while fishing for a mag with your other hand, other then that it takes two hands to remove the mag, fish and then put the new one in, so, yes, it's reload is a bit fast

I can't imagine reloading a standard Makarov single handed is easy in the best of situations. Surely you'd end up having to completely change your grip; much more efficient to use the non-firing hand, surely. I can see it being speeded if you were already holding a full mag between middle and ring fingers when removing the empty one with the thumb and index finger of the other hand.

I can see an option for speed loading it where you have a mag in your off hand, and manipulate the magizine with your off hand fingers, dropping the mag and putting the fresh one in, but, yeah, it's still pretty iffy overall.

I only want an option in the menu (like for the crosshair in SP) where you can select "AUTO-RELOAD" on and OFF, in MP also. I want choose where my stalker reloads his gun basta. Furthermore reload animations are wrong as a few othere stated. As long as there is a bullet in the chamber, there is no need to pull back the cocking handle. And an option to turn off the crosshair in MP, let me choose how I want to play in MP.

Also the cocking handle of the MP5 is not moving when you are shooting in reality because its a roller-delayed blowback action weapon.

I also agree with the other options which add realism to the game! And let me repair my gun god damnit.

I'm not too sure about the original idea. It's true, it's not very realistic at the moment; but neither is it frustrating. I ususally find myeslf running out of ammo at the silliest times, and I scavenge what I can from the dead. But usally it's small amounts; if I had to reload every five or ten shots because that's the amount that each dude had on them, i'm going to get tired very quickly.

I can understand why you think that though. You should pitch this to the dude who makes the Realism mod, that would be neat!

actualy, I have fond memories of playing Deus Ex with everything except the crosshairs off, and the biomods on active only. I'd like to see something like this for stalker without having to resort to the no hud mod. Also disabling the auto reload would be very nice.

As an aside, I'd like to have alternate reloads, IE, tapping the reload key twice causes you to drop the mag to the ground rather then retaining. Especialy if magazines become recoverable items.

As an aisde for strangeness, if you reload the pistols without emptying the mag, you don't rechamber the one in the pipe, which means, you're loading partial (1 below cap) mags durring combat, of all wierdness. (I know it's not the intent, but that is what it looks like)
